That's the 'In air' flash menu in action, is your phone branded or something, as it should be on there??
i feel pretty dumb right now, but i don't know what branded means. i'm guessing you mean is it locked?
my phone is locked to my provider, which is '3' here in australia. does this mean i can't operate this function?

My phone is also from 3 in Australia too, and it also doesn't have flash lite menus, because 3 removed the function from the firmware, i heard. I've been told you can fix it by flashing the firmware to a non-3 version with Da Vinci which enables them. |

Sam, sorry, I didn't realise you wouldn't understand......
'Branded' means that your network('3') have replaced the generic OS on the phone with their own 'branded' version...they do this to tailor certain features to their requirements, but also to disable anything they don't like, or want you doing with your handset. Unfortunately, most networks seem to think flash menus are a waste of time(they're actually very powerful, if you know how to programm flash), and I know 3UK ruin them, so I'd say this is why you can't run them(even though they will still be inside the OS, they're too lazy to remove them entirely and free up precious memory)...but of course, there are many way now to de-brand your phone, and restore the generic OS - but this will invalidate your warranty......
Hope this helps

Branding doesnt affect what themes you can use. You should be able to download that in air theme from sony ericsson's website, |

Anyone noticed the pumpkins on the underwater theme today?
as for 3UK. Im tweaking with the firmware at the moment
Be careful of debranding a 3 branded phone because if you do, you will no longer be able to browse the 3 Portal (applies to UK definitely)
I'm currently tweaking with my t650i to get jjust enough branding to get it to work on the 3 portal.
I can flash the 3 branded k770 firmware and get the menus back just be editing the customize.xml and setting "enable flash" to true.
I've managed to extract the 3 customization files including certs but it still doesnt browse the portal. I think there must be something in MAIN part of the firmware that it also needs as well as the certs
This afternoon im going to flash it with 3branded MAIN+FS but then use my own edited customize.xml to hopefully enable the flash menus |

1st of the month
fireworks...
does anyone else have the same problem as me with the display...
All my white photos have turned slightly yellow and dull on the T650i...
It doesn't seem to be the screen because white text is white.
I know what the photos look like on a k800 and on my monitor but on the t650 screen they are all slightly dirty coloured or yellowish..
i don't know if this is supposed to be a part of the 'nature' element of this phone, colouring photos with a slightly warmer yellow tone? i haven't found a way to remove this so i fear it could be either a. my phone or b. sony ericsson getting in touch with nature or c. a weird bug that will be removed soon (i hope so... snow doesn't look quite so appealing when it's yellow...
can anyone help me please?
thanks, toby
