quote
"Sony was leaked IT168 forum China and announced the new Xperia of three models in a press event to be held in Shanghai on June 25.
■ was conveyed to be announced is the 3 following models
Xperia "Togari" (Xperia Z Ultra)
Xperia "CN3"
Xperia "Huashanchun"
Xperia Z Ultra is probably Xperia CN3 and corresponds to the terminal to be equipped with a quad-core MediaTek and 5 inches screen, a Snapdragon 800 and 6.44 inches FHD screen. For more information about Huashanchun is unknown, but may become a (TD version?) One of the variations of Xperia SP (huashan)
Credibility of this information is not certain, but I feel the authenticity of the point with a code name such as Huashanchun is out. We would like to wait for further news".
so will the new phone Huashanchun is bigger version of huashan

Any news on external xenon flash accessory?
last hope for us Xenon fans
#bringbacktheMXE-60
Lack of a Xenon flash would mean no sale for me.
led flash on a modern camera phone just isn't good enough for dark conditions, especially more so if trying to capture a moving image.
Its 2013, still having to use a digital camera to take decent shots at night as a top line camera phone doesn't even have a xenon flash is laughable!
I've still got a MXE-60 & the different it made for my K750I on night time shots over the built in led was very noticeable.

I wish manufacturers sold different versions of the same smartphones with different battery capacities. |

More ROM and larger battery for an extra 100$/EUR would be great! |

@To members that post questions that I don't discuss;
either I don't have info or I can't share at this moment. But I read all your stuff and will post as soon as I can.
Thank you, finger crossed a camera centric phone exists with a different ergonomy, not ruling honami out, but more choice is better.
Also agree that a phablet, camera centric, or smaller version of honami would not be flagship even if high enders.
But the carriers make their own choices for flagship and makers need to live with it.
For instance, Xperia Z, i cannot find it in the shelves already since a few weeks, so what, only 2 month or so of shelf life.
Only Xperia A which is the summer docomo flaship with Galaxy S4.
If Sony releases only one flagship a year, along other high enders, it may not be used as a flaship by carriers for the full year like iphone at softbank, as they could use one of the other high ender, or phones from other makers.
Just to say it blurries the lines of which is the flagship for the end users.

if Z was like Honami, then it wouldn't have had such short shelf life? |

No, not custom made, all I'm asking is a choice between a few (say 3) different SKU-s. And I believe that would eliminate a need for developing similar models. For instance, having 3 types of Z, instead of developing ZL and ZR. |

Remember that every rumour that mentions 3GB RAM is 100% fake, always, especially with a Snapdragon 800. Snapdragon 800 uses dual-channel memory, which is not possible/very expensive to do with 3GB. 2GB is all Android needs the coming years, 3GB or 4GB would be a waste of money, silicon and battery life. |
