@uun:
Read the very first post in this thread.
The latest from SEUS is R1L. |

I found out that in R1L002, creating shortcuts from menu items more than 2 levels deep is possible. My phone originally had R1A044, and I cannot create a link to the Alarm setting -- after updating through SEUS, I had it added to my shortcut list. |

when you download the FW for your k750,does SEUS cheks if it's a k750 or not? I am asking that to see if we will be able to flash the k750 with the w800 FW when it will be on SEUS

yes it will check exactly which phone, region, operator etc. you have and only download the available firmware for that specific phone.
You do not get any options to select what to flash when using SEUS, and you will not be able to flash a k750 with w800 firmware from SEUS

I've still got R1A044 on my phone since I received it a month ago (unbranded), no problems setting up a shortcut to the Alarm. No crashes at all yet. When they fix the reduced video recording quality in R1L002 I'll think about upgrading. |

Any chance R1L fixes hs850 compatibility? |

if u like R1A, u can always flash with davinci (although I got a few customers saying they have problem in the finalization process and give configuration error)
anyway, I do find R1L works much faster than R1A and with a better battery life (anyway, u might be right in the vedio recording quality..but I didn't test it)
to me, battery life and speed is more important to me (as I talked a lot ^v^)

i'm quite happy with R1L. my phone is very stable now, and although some say there may be a decrease in video quality, for me that is more than offset by the increased speaker volume. at least now i can hear the person i'm talking to! (isn't that a phone's primary purpose? )
i must say that despite the bugs that come with a new model, i'm extremely happy with my K750. a great little handset indeed. |

I'm on R1A and my phone works just fine.
I really can't understand those people that want to change away from this if they are not having any problems with it?
If you've got no bugs then why take the risk? There are plenty of users that are happily out there with R1A who have never had a problem, don't even know what R1A is and have never even heard of Esato!!
For those people and the rest of us on here with a stable R1a phone, the K750i is doing exactly what we expect and what SE intended.
My sympathies though to the many people on here and out there that are having problems though.
It'll take something really special to convince me to upgrade my FW.
I'd say leave well alone. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. |
