Tony , what I really need is:

Hawk that would be nearly impossible to achieve with todays standards unfortunately... They should find some new battery tech and also two huge sensors with physical zoom requires so much space so this phone will be having a huge camera hump
Many other specs u have listed can be achievable but the titanium frame is a bit overkill isnt it
If at all a phone can be made with such specs it would be unwieldably thick and heavy |

They made so much effort for Aube.
Premium got delayed for that.
I doubt they drop it ...
180° is impossible, it must be 0 mm.
Because 120 is near 18mm.
Maybe ToF is small enough for 180mm lenses.
Isn't RED Hydrogen made out of titanium (one of the two versions)?
The hole of the case looks bit big for only 3 cameras.

Also i have agree about aube... They won't ditch it just like that as it was a groundbreaking technology
Maybe aube is premium specific or they have incorporated it here someway |

I agree about aube but maybe it turned out to be too expensive. They discontinued the smart watch line in a finger snap.
We're pretty sure about one of the cams is ToF
That leaves the other two, and old aube needed both to have the same field of view. If they continue this they will end up with 3 cameras but only one angle.
If they use different focal lengths, aube as we know it would not be so useful.
UNLESS new aube needs only one sensor but that would be against its definition of "fusion" chip. |

Rac, I just said I wish Xperia with titanium frame.
Someone said that it is kinda impossible to see on any phone.
Then I saidI think Hydrogen has titanium body.
Without monochrome Aube is useless. It is only function is real time fusion.
Sony does not sell stacked sensor to other brands.
Samsung has an exmor because this one is a copy of their isocell.
Someone said here ppl on weibo say the 666 is not 1/1.8" but 1/1.5".
The cam hole of Compact's case is too big..
Almost as big as the Moto Z cam ring.
666 has DRAM ...
A9 is the only Apha to have this tech.
So this sensor must be the one .... |

Main functions of AUBE:
- Portrait mode
- High sensitivity in photos
- High sensitivity in videos
Without AUBE:
Bokeh:
If the rumor of Pixel Dual in the sensor is true, it would no longer need AUBE to create the mapping. (Google Pixel Mode) (besides the ToF sensor can do it too)
High sensitivity in photos:
At this point we already know that it is possible with a good software algorithm.
High sensitivity in videos:
At this time is the only reason to continue using Aube, BUT only if there is a monochrome sensor.
