Hi!
The contacts can be easily transferred. I have done this today for 439 contacts.
I reccomend you to do as I did - using temporary application (like MS Outlook).
0. Make a full backup of your old phone.
1. sinhronize contacts from old phone to Outlook (make sure that sinhronization settings is set to transfer from phone to Outlook no vice versa... else you will loose all contacts)
2. sinhronize contacts from Outlook to new device. Again - make sure that setting are corrects and contacts are transferred from PC to Mobile.... or you can looze your contacts.
This is usefull if you need to edit contacts... in Outlook it is much easer...
but now I am experiencing problem with contacts... read here:

Hi!
I got today the CD and have installed on another Win2000 machine and done the sinhronization. Thanks.
PS
The installation was looking for some drivers for USB Hub, some modem etc... which is not included in download version for PC Suite but can be found on CD (D:\\Install\\USB-Driver...) |

Quick question:
How is the video playback on the phone?
Just wondering as when I used to play converted movies on my p910i they used to be perfect widescreen.
Any apps like smartmovie on the m600i?
Thanks

Hi guys. Recently got my My M600i through vodafone. I like it bar the vodafone's firmware. i do like the new status bar icons that vodafone have, i just hate it how they have changed so much on it (e.g. today screen and task manager).
Does any1 know the most current firmware version on the vodafone phones? How do i check my current firmware version?
Thanks |

if vodadone have removed that option to hide it from you then you should still be able to access it in flip closed mode via the SE standard service menu accessed by the standard sequence of >*<<*<* where < is a single jogdial click antriclockwise and > is a single jogdial click clockwise and * is the * key on the keypad
this has been the same for all P series phones

sorry, its late and I'm tired but trying to help... but the sequence is just the same on the M600
did you even try it because its the same sequence on all SE phones since SE phones began, and indeed on Ericsson phones before that.
on Symbian phones its a jog dial movement as described whereas in non symbian then its a joystick movement to the left or right, but at the end of the day the sequence to get into the service menu to see the firmware version is always the same
edit: *sigh*... glad you finally got it
