Does the K750i allow users to search contacts by spelling out the name instead of just the first letter? Does it also allow mobile numbers to be inserted in the SMS by using the phonebook like nokia does? |

Yes, you can search the phonebook with more than the first letter. As for inserting phone numbers in SMS, not sure. |

That's good to hear. I get annoyed with my K700 since I have to scroll through the phonebook just to get a specfic person. It might be a trivial thing to others but this search feature and the insert number in SMS feature matters for me.
I have to make sure that the K750 has these features before I even think of buying it. If it doesn't, even though it pains me, I'm back to nokia I sure will miss the ease of using bluetooth in SE with Mac. |

I spoke to the O2 online upgrade people on Saturday and they told me that they would have the phone in stock on Monday 23rd May, and that as a high usage customer, it should be free, I've emailed customer services to find out however. Sounds good to me... |

Says on SE website:
"Illumination
The light guidance function indicates which features are currently available for use. Slide the active lens cover open, and the camera button lights up".
Does this mean jus the cam button lights up as well as the keypad or other buttons too, (i.e. Music, power buttons).
And did we ever find out about the 'torch' functionality of the LED?

Just the camera button ligths up,
As for the torch the muti tasking button brings up a option (this can also be foung in the settings menu) that lets you turn the light on with out using the camera, also there is a option to use the light as an SOS signal just incast your lost at sea! |

Kewl, thanx Jamin.
lookin forward to upgradin to this when Orange finally release it. As I recall, I was waitin ages for my 6230 when it came out. Orange are a nitemare for releasing weeks after everyone else it seems......
A friend of mine just upgraded to the 6680 but after playing around with a K700 recently, there is no way I'd upgrade to a Nokia again.
The camera slider on the back of 6680 is v. annoying BTW and is always opening when you don't want it to (in and out of pocket etc.) Any such issues with the one on K750?!?
