I downloaded the User Manual from SE website just for a look... seems like you can select an mp3 as a ringtone ("If you select an mp3 file as a ringtone, you cannot use voice answering"). This is the feature I've been waiting for!
I don't care too much for playing music on my phone, but I want to cut mp3s down and use my favourite part of the song as a ringtone.
No doubt it will be a lot dearer here in New Zealand...

You could use WaveLab to slice your songs.
I have done so and it works well with my sister's SE Z1010

Nope, im not bothered about listening to MP3's on my phone either, i use my PDA's for that.
WaveLab ? whats that and can i download it free ? (i searched google but it came back with no results for a free full download or trial for it, just a site).

If there is'nt any other similar SE models around when my contract is up in september then i'll prolly upgrade to k700 and hopefully get it for same price as i got t610 last september, £30 :-)
