Its very hard to get a good sense of how good a product is... the OEMs are the only ones that have a clear picture.
Agree. I don't waste my time posting my feedback about a certain gadget if I am satisfied with it. |

sadly, people who don't have it and are not even planning to have it are always too eager to spread the negativity ... this is the xperia z2 thread. if you had issues with other xperias or sony products, they have their own threads. |

Hey aren't you tired of writing about things you have no clue about?
Having Z2? No? So leave the space for useful posts and people interested in info not cr..p.
I really don't get it. You must be a really deeply bu..tt hurt kid
to whine over and over again about something you've never even had in your hands.
Use what you want but just leave this space with your stinkin' sh...t.
Please.
P.S. It's just sooo funny to read whining over 4k video recordings from people who actually
will never use really for anything besides some silly fun once or twice.

You might be right but I don't give a rats ass about specs, as long as the phone runs smoothly and works properly I don't care, I care about the camera and camera quality but everything else is a waste of time now really, there's no need for 4k screens or 4GB Ram or anything like that I don't see the point.
You are one of the few
Also, its not all pointless if there are practical applications for it... 4GB ram might be good if there was an application on android (other than games) which needs that kind of memory amount and it can use it. Or even better.. if android was able to take full advantage of the RAM and the multiple cores that we enjoy these day, but alas.. non of this is really happening, its mostly marketing.
Apple are a bit smarter about it.. they try to add "hardware functionality" innovations or at least market them as such. First it was the "retina" display, now they are going with "sapphire" .. customers are very easy to manipulate. They also have the fingerprint reader thingy..

I completely agree with you sir, probably one of the most sensible answer I have heard.
If Sony are so bad does that make Apple too? I tell you why, I have owned Sony / Sony Ericsson for years see them rise and fall but I decided to jump ship to Apple for the iPhone 4. I thought it was amazing until I had lots of problems with it, Apple were only too happy to replace my handset until 3 months later and it's warranty was expired and it completely died. It became a bricked phone. Till this day I have never known what happened, but Apple gave me excuses and again asking me to fork out for repairs. I sold my dead 4 and bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V. That phone is now my backup phone and still works like new. So the moral of the story any manufacturer can have issues including your beloved Samsung, if they are that good then why do they have employed complaints officers lol
Personally there is people in this world who get too emotionally attached to their phones and really come 2 years time you disregard it and get the latest phone.
I have owned a Z for over 6 months and I have had not a single problem with it. I wont be upgrading for quite a while because I have more important things to worry about than mobile phones.

People on here make me laugh if someone bashes Sony everyone starts crying lol.
Bad drivers + bad software + heavy compression = Sony
That's before overheating and poor quality control, slow updates and release buggy updates when they do finally release them.
You can call me a troll but as I keep saying I own a ps3 a Sony TV and laptop but their mobile phones are a massive letdown. Good designs but poorly made and bad quality control and always issues with heat or screens or something else.
That is my opinion.

Looks like all issue take us straight back to the sony software team, I think someone hire up at Sony need to know how horrible their software team is and get rid of them. It has gotten a lot better over the times, but not quick enough. How can the google generic camera app capture quicker and don't have so much focus issue than the stock camera. |

And I think you're the whining idiot.
Or just a frustrated pu..ssy.
Jump to other OEM'S forums and bich there.
You will definitely find tons of reasons for that from Apple, Samsung etc.
They have outstanding number of issues you can trace with passion.
Including heavy court trials.
The problem is not beeing critical.
The problem is you are a LIAR. What has been proven.
And that's not a good thing you know.
Please, lie somwhere else and leave.

Your right I'm glad you agree with my opinion about the software.
Plus this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2744006 Someone posting today on XDA saying why the camera sucks ass.

I tend to stay out of these little arguments on here but Northmonkey you don't half talk out your arse. I know the whole point of a forum is to get a point across good or bad but if you were a battery you would be negitive at both ends. We all get the idea you don't like Sony mobile we have known that for a while now so stop going on like a broken record and repeating yourself about stuff you have been proven wrong or lied about.
I can tell you from working in a mobile store that we get a lot more complaints about Samsung and Apple than we do about Sony and it isn't that they sell more its all down to reliabilty and in my experiance Sony is up there with the best. Yes there has been some dodgy phones and software releases but you tell me one brand that has'nt had a fair share of issues and I gaurantee you won't find one ranging from Apple to ZTE (A to Z) they will all have had problems some worse than others and some a lot more high profile. Apple are a prime example when the iPhone 4 launched with faulty antenna which resulted in calls being dropped and what did Steve Jobs tell all his loyal customers "its not the phone its the way your holding it" and Samsung had a wide range of issues with the S4 like a swollen battery, stress fractures in the casing random reboots and failure to turn back on at all.
I'm so happy 'cause today I've found my friends ... They're in my head

My posts are opinions, I've had the Xperia S, T, Z, Z1 etc and they've all had issues, autofocus, software, heating issues, slow updates etc so that's what I am basing my experience on plus the Z2 does have an overheating issue that's a fact, I also believe in my opinion that the lens/software for the camera isn't up to scratch, lens softness etc bad compression.
As someone has just said on that XDA thread, the glass used for the lens isn't very good, the sensor is being let down by the poor software and lens so that biggish sensor is being let down quite badly, the lens/sensor/software is the same as in the Z1 so in the Z2 you will have the same problems as the Z1 and overheating and issues on top of that from what has been said by many people. |

Criticism is a great thing but when all your posts consistently are the same ranting and moaning it it becomes trolling.
don't you get tired? don't you have other things to say or do? if not then you are not contributing to this thread. there is no point writing your same opinions again and again (whether they are true, false, or in between). you will get nothing out of it. you are only wasting your time.
