I was never critical of the device.

I've always liked it.

Aand I haven't received it yet, but this Satio avatar is getting old.

Did you say they said that you would receive it within 30 days? They told me I'd get it in 30 days...

I can't wait 30 days!

As for reviews, this Cnet one really pissed me off. So unbelievably biased, clearly the author is a user of the iPhone and the photo comparison is a joke.

Well they did say within 30 days initially... but now that PM has been deleted and further down the conversation they said "Unfortunately, we can't say that it'll arrive any sooner than 30 days from now"... which is a bit ambiguous.

So in other words, the phone will definitely be with us in 30 days, but it may arrive sooner

I wonder what the reasoning behind them not being able to send it straight away is

True that. I mean, I'd have no problem to just go to their office here in London and pick it up.
Saves them the hassle of sending it.

Maybe this is like an absolute deadline by which we should receive it? You know, in case the winner lives in the Outer Hebrides.

Can't believe CNET call the S, plasticky, again, written by an iSheep. Just like the Engadget one where the reviewer was claiming that the iPhone 4 camera was better than the S, when clearly the samples posted showed the the S was leaps and bounds ahead of the iPhone 4 camera.

Right, they called the widgets and timescape ugly, the design non-ergonomic and the build plasticky and cheap.

And apparently Sense is better than UXP. Right.

They also moaned that the Xperia S was too heavy at 144g compared to the iPhone4S, I think you will find the iPhone 4S is actually heavier than it's quoted weight of 140g.

The short version. With USB mass storage you can manage any kind of file you want. With MTP you are limited to just media files.

Great phone

bad thing: it has only MTP mode, no USB mass storage.
...and good: modding started

Battery is ok, almost like in Arc

WAIT, WHAT? What do You mean no USB mass storage? Isn't every android made to work as USB mass storage? Besides what does MTP mean? What kind of files can You transfer to and off the phone?

Yes I would also like to know, does this mean on the XS you cannot simply plug the phone into the computer and it opens windows explorer just like a memory stick would?
