Regarding the internal storage on the Xperia U, the global product page shows "Flash memory: 16GB eMMC" in addition to "8 GB (up to 4 GB user-accessible memory)."

The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

So NO!!!! No 41 mega pixel otherwise we already see in Sony/Nikon device already.
Nokia use just software that bump the resolution to 41 Mega pixel resolution.
Otherwise, give me some proof.

Just read here. The sensor's size is 1/1.2" and I don't think any other camera uses the same one. The closest to this is Nikon's CX format which uses 1" sensors with 2.7 crop factor found on their mirrorless cameras (they have only 10 MP though).

I said, give me proof where 41 mega pixel sensors are true, because i can't found them. 25 or 28 mega pixel is the highest they have in stand alone camera's .
So, give me some proof that a 41 mega pixel sensor module Give me a picture of that sensor.

I do have to say, Nokia really got everyone this time in MWC. I was just expecting a 16-18mp, not 41mp. I'm assuming they're using pixel binning in the 808.

Here's your proof that the sensor is indeed 41MP, unless you don't believe a single word Nokia is saying to the world:
http://press.nokia.com/2012/0[....]olution-in-smartphone-imaging/
And, before you keep yammering about how 25 or 28 megapixel is the highest in stand alone cameras, please Google Nikon D800. Food for thought, that sensor Nikon is using is from Sony.

If you can't find pictures of the sensor it doesn't mean it's non-existing. Here is the phone itself, the box next to it contains three sensors used in cell phones and the one at the low right is 808's.
Edit: oops, seems I forgot to add the image link.

To be fair, the D800 isn't actually on the market yet.....
That said, the fact that a 41 MP camera has been announced for market makes me cringe and cry. |

Sony's NW-MS7 had a built in battery way back in 1999. The iPod wasn't announced until 2001.
Are you saying that Apple also made the first ever device with built in memory and didn't copy it from anyone else?

ok Nokia made this great camera phone, but honestly who cant with 20 mm thickness area. now if this phone was 10 mm thick then that would be impressive so I dont really understand why all the commotion, Samsung, Sony, even apple can match or beat this if they didn't mind making the ctamera area 20 mm thick. |

That's true, actually. You need a sensor that's double in diagonal to go from 12 to 48MP. That should amount to even less than double the thickness.

I said a picture from sensor module itself not from Wikipedia info
Give some picture what type of sensor module it is what Nokia use, nothing more.
Come on, is it so difficult? I really want to see that |

Wonder what happened to the pepper? Did Sony cancel it because of the different design?
@rog, is it canceled? |
