Honestly I can’t see any blue/purple color on the tail. But Purple things happen in 1 out of 100/150 shots and it’s not camera problem it’s depend on the light condition IMO.

What should we more expect from tiny sensor?

@adnansanni,
Maybe if we zoom in a bit? Can you still not see any purple color?

Anyway, as I said at the bottom of the previous page, the purple fringing is not that big of a deal as it is only apparent in very bright light. And the colors the C902 produces are marvelous, almost the same as my number 1 favorite Cyber-shot. And I agree with plankis that the photos from the C902 have better color and saturation than those from most other camphones, including the i-mobile 902. The i-mobile has a very sensitive sensor so the photos have less noise but daylight shots require tweaking for optimum color and saturation.

You'll find purple fringing is a problem with many compact and even 'prosumer' digital cameras too, I've had a few digicams and most of them suffer from this fringing to some degree. I took a load of pics in Amsterdam with my Nikon P60 and some of those had some purple fringing.

It's not just a cameraphone disease, it's a problem with many dedicated digital cameras too.

Yes I agree. My Sony Cyber-shot T2 and my mum's Fujifilm Something-or-other both have a bit of purple fringing on occasions, and I'm sure they aren't the only ones. I hardly think we can expect a mere mobile phone camera to perform better than a proper digital camera. I think we're all being a bit silly and taking this argument too far.
