I'd definitely wait until the new one is released, it'll hopefully be announced a week on Tuesday.

Never thought of that 2.1 currently, not sure updating an unlocked and jailbroken one is easy with out losing anything atall?

im wondering if there will even be a new iphone released. ive read so many different 'reputable sourced' specs that im doubting any of its credibility.
i think im going to wait for the apple conference, sure. but if they release a new iphone, i doubt it will be free on the tariff i want.
ah, decisions. never simple. |

I'm planning on taking my iPhone for it's long overdue swap at an Apple Store in London on Thurs (talked about in the other iPhone thread some time ago) Does anyone think i'll need to produce any kind of receipt, or will they be able to just log in to their systems and find me and see that it's a registered UK O2 iPhone?

when I had my replacement home delivered I didn't have to show any proof at all.
They just took my serial number over the phone, looked it up and got me to confirm my name and address.
I suppose the fact that it was delivered to my registered address is proof enough so you might just need to show some ID to confirm you are the rightful owner

Cool, cheers for that. I'll take some form of ID with me then just to be on the safe side. I can't quite remember what I did with my upgrade receipt.
Gotta unjailbreak it tonight, as staying in London Weds night...not looking forward to the next 48 hours with a minimized iPhone!

@Weirdwilli Where've you been looking, just in Cydia? It's just that some of the latest and greatest themes arent on there yet... Macthemes.net is the place you wanna go. Theme i'm currently using is called Faust, i'm digging the smaller icons atm. Other recommendations are Round 2, Teneo, Neco, An'n'Me, Smoog, and if you do like the smaller icons also try Matte Nano.
Most of these themes are assuming you are comfortable with dragging and dropping them in your Themes folder either using SSH or via USB with something like iFunBox
Let me know if that all confused you!!
Sorry, forgot about posting here!
Yep am fine with SSHing into it to change graphics, used to be a bit of a jailbreaking nerd when I got my iPod Touch at the end of '07 but haven't really bothered to do much lately..
Will check out those themes, thanks

Yeah me too, got in to it all when I got my Touch xmas '07. Never thought i'd like the whole thing as much as I do! Previous to that I was very anti-iTunes, and now I actually love it..although it's bloatware, it's organisation is amazing.
But yeah, macthemes is pretty much a one-stop shop for decent quality themes. You'd be hard pressed to not find at least one theme on there you like. Be sure to post up a screenie of your new theme!

anyone who likes Flight Control, there's a new version out today which has two new layouts (see below) and it also has a "go faster" button to help those of us who are trying for higher scores to get past the first 50 or 60 instead of it taking an age

Liking the go-faster button, and the new uniforms for the hostess are a nice touch... but still no higher than 66!

I notice there are also new aircraft too. A fighter and a twin engine helicopter in the aircraft carrier layout, though the twin chopper looks more like a caterpiller!
looks like I'll be wasting some more hours! (days!)

I was wondering the other day when they would bring out a new layout-update for it. It certainly looks interesting..will delve in later
Like @Boinng, i cant seem to get near my high-score these days, of 96. Best i've done recently is 50 odd
