Is there an extended life or higher density battery for the phone available?

I believe so. My M600 came with a 900 mAh battery, and my K800 came with a 950 mAh battery, yet they both have the same model number and physical size.

have u tried using your k800i's battery in your m600 ?

I reflashed my M600 again yesterday and then restored the back-up and switched off the hand writing recognition etc. And the performance is just blistering! Now I don't know what happens during 2/3 weeks of use but based on the speed currently there must still be a lot of room for improvement in performance of this firmware. Looking forward to SE's next update.

I also reflashed my M600 to the current firmware on Tuesday night because it was getting hellishly sluggish
It really does help but I hope this is not the way forward. People complain about soft resetting WM devices but having to reflash to get teh performance back is crazy

I don't know about a CD image but you can download the PC suite directly from the M600i support pages

yes... but in that package there isn't theese drivers
To be more precise:
1. I download and install PC suite from SE.com
2. restart the computer
3. connect the phone with cable...
Windows shows: found new hardware: M600i and asks for path to install drivers...

strange, it says windows 2000 support and I've never seperately installed any drivers, just the pc suite.
I'll check my CD when I get home and see if there is anything extra on there that might be useful to you

Does anyone else on here have their M600i from Vodafone?
I'm missng mine, so am getting it back - and am currently talking to their tech-support about getting the 'original' UIQ3 interface rather than their bastardised version - and wondered what everyone else thought of Voda's route? |

Hi, Ive tried searching, but i cant figure out what a master reset will remove from my phone. Obviously that'll be all the contacts and settings, but what about the pre-installed apps and video/pictures/sounds that came with the phone when i bought it?
If these are removed, will upgrading to the latest firmware after a master reset re-instal these and fully return my phone to how it was when i bought it?
Thanks!
