@ ayush - no the doc said i can sleep with my lenses for upto 2 hrs . Now my eyes are back to normal. Btw i use semi soft lenses. What were you using?

Sleeping with contact lenses for prolonged periods can be dangerous as the oxygen supply to the cornea is totally cut off when your eyes are closed. Prolonged lack of oxygen can cause damage to cornea by causing haziness. So do not risk with vital organs like eyes And do not sleep again with contact lenses for long. Semi soft variety is more dangerous compared to the soft ones in this aspect.

How many hours should one wear his lenses? I had it on till 8 hours and my eyes got red since then i wear them only 4-5 hours.

Soft monthly disposable contact lenses can be worn throughout the day. The regular soft ones- the yearly ones should be worn for about 8-10 hours a day.

Yeah , i have been thinking too.But , the very fact that it would take another eight to ten months for me to save enough money to buy a new K750 , dampers my spirits.Meanwhile , i could buy a S700i at the current rates in a month or two .

I assume the K750 to be priced at around 30K.
