Z. Ha, I win!
I can't wait for MWC. It can't come soon enough. I know Samsung will have great stuff, and I can't wait to see what the others bring. |

Z-A+A=Z SO I WIN!
Anyway lol ok calm down did not see the whole HD thing. Yeah that is a challenge and now I think both companies are screwed. But question is it me or did LG become designers of samsung phones(that i phone interface phone reminds me of an omnia) and vice versa?(that samsung looks a whole lot like a secret but upgraded) |

Samsung and LG are both South Korean companies. Maybe the head designers for both companies are good friends and use to dring a bottle of beer or two toghether somtimes?
OnT: looks like SE needs a really good flagship (xperia branded?) to match those rumored phones.

you mean at the second half of 2010 when every other manufacturer already has their 2nd generation of HD recorder out, SE MIGHT join the HD line too?
I wonder what all those Hikaru-Fanboys will say, when SE won't show a device that comes near to resemble Hikaru.. will Hikaru be postponed for MWC in 2010? lol |

Doesn't anyone notice how thin the phone is? I can't imagine how bad the pictures are going to be.
HD Video Recording is nice... but whether it can record HD quality is completely different.
I like the HDMI output part for sure. Yes, Samsung has been pushed the bar even higher, and good for them. But we are obviously getting carried away here. |

Now, you see, this is EXACTLY what I want BUT with a 3" or so screen, basically I don't really want the phone to be bigger then my G900. If that Samsung is that size with a good camera and the touch S60 OS then I'm sold. Unless Nokia or SE can come up with something similar.
I really am after something like this and thin but a massive screen is a no no and I've a feeling this Samsung will be around 3.8" screen size which is a brick IMO.

To be honest, if were to release the same X1 but with a 5MP camera people would still rave about it. There are a lot of these full touchscreen phones coming but they all lose out because the X1 has the optical joystick. Only the iPhone works well without a d-pad, every other phone struggles badly and you have to fumble a lot when you try to do anything quickly.
Also with these smartphones coming out, I can't see any that have a better design than the X1 with its fantastic qwerty. A phone is about experience and not just specs, if Samsung do a good job with the 12MP phone then great but I doubt the quality will make me ditch my digital camera. If the next Xperia is a thinner X1 with Symbian, it will be the best on show. |

so in the end it comes down 2 either a phone with a tonne of features(nokia) or one with incredible build quality(sonyericsson).
thing with having a good quality 4n with no features is that it lasts 4 ever(my K800's still gud afta 4 yrs) but u'll be too bored to use it. so it will jus gather dust on your self.
then there's the 4ns with lots of features but terrible build quality(my N85), u check ever surface twice b4 puttin it down.
wich do u pick? |

Hmm, k800 was launched in july 2006. I must be bad at math because I only get that to 2.5 years.

First of all, I wasn't bashing it. I was just judging it from what I see.
Secondly, can't we say the same about Sony Ericsson? I've decided to leave Sony Ericsson myself, but I'm not the one here complaining how SE doesn't produce the phone I want. |
