Also, Neotel says they will be rolling out or at least have pricing available next month...cool huh.

Good weekend for all!

@ Francois,
Eish, whatever bloody next, reading that article in that link had me glued to my seat! So the poor bloke had to stick around until the paramedics arrived...(sorry... )
Seriously though, I hope they catch the scumbags and let the victim apply generous dollops of superglue in a few sensitive areas...maybe glue their 'totters' en 'balsakke' to a chair, then put a hardcore porn dvd on in front of them and then watch them squirm...

Off topic, the most expensive speeding fine that I've had in SA was R1300 for being caught doing 173km/h near Midrand in 1999. This is absolutely peanuts when I see what this bloke has to now cough up, albeit that he was going a LOT faster than what I was... 295km/h!

Care of the UK's MCN (Motor Cycle News):

'Big fine for 183mph (295km/h) biker
By Dan Thornton

11 May 2007 17:33

A South African motorcyclist has been fined R102000 (£7371.10) after he was caught speeding at 183mph in KwaZulu-Natal.

The fine was also set by magistrates for the rider, jan Hendrick, not displaying number plates and riding an unlicensed motorbike. He'll only have to pay R50000 at the moment, but if he commits a similar crime int he next five years, the balance of the fine will then be due.'

Nice story there Francois, nowhere but in SA would the tsotsis think up something like this! Wanqa certainly has the right spirit when it comes to concocting suitable means of retribution, should these leeches ever be arrested...

As for that superhero zipping along at such an incredible speed... damn, he deserves the slap on the wrist (or kick in the nuts, depending on how serious/indignant/outraged/sober/plastered one is on a Saturday afternoon, lol), but just think of the tale he'll tell his grandkids someday, provided he lives long enough to actually see aforementioned grandkids.

Righto, onto matters more Parisian of complexion. A member of this thread emailed these links to me, and i couldn't agree more.

She needs a good dose of hello-fresh-meat and don't-drop-the-soap to remind her that only Chuck Norris can reasonably expect people to believe he's above the law!!!
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

LOL, whenever I see the word 'Parisienne' I think of Gary Moore's iconic blues song, 'Parisienne Walkways.' What an exceptionally talented Blues guitarist.

Dang, if I think back to how inept Paris Hilton was with virtually any form of laborious work in the TV programme 'The Simple Life', she's in for one very deserved reality shock. Hopefully her 'doing time' will knock some common sense into that blonde-covered cranium... no one is above the law, even if you're from an uber-wealthy, high profile stable like the Hiltons.
