@sanj / gil:

NAT = Network Address Translation

The link ShawO provided explains quite well what NAT does.

DiGi provides a class A private address (address starting with 10.0.0.0) and NAT that to the real internet. You get a free firewall protection at the same time (thanks DiGi).

@ShawO:

Thanks for the link... useful...

Guys,

What do you think of the XDA Mini? Am seriously thinking of getting one to replace my P900 which will go to my wife coz she loves touch screen for SMS. However I am sooo familiar and comfortable with SE UI especially music playing and PDA functions that I am willing to wait for the P1K if it is coming this year. Having said that, the CLARA and the Nokia 6681 look tempting as well, God why did somebody invent cell phones, make us poorer..............

From what I heard, SE will release a killer successor to the P910, the difference is going to be a big one. The difference the successor will is over the P910 is as much a difference the P910 has over the P800. If that makes sense to you.

I won't move away from SE's UIQ implementations, but that's me.

Very sturdy device which performs pretty well, considering the fact it's on PPC platform... hardly any resets needed.

But alas, 64MB of memory is too little for a PPC powered device, and its hard to use single-handedly, eg while driving... So the P910i still is better in terms of overall usability...

first impression.... the thing is so freakin small (for a handheld) it look nothing more than a kiddie's toy

so yeah, P9 wins hands down
