Since all of the three users are regarded as trusted sources, I assume that there would be 2 more high-end/flagship devices: one will look like maia's description and the other will look like what huiyi and ramu saw. Am I right???  |

Well maia did say he does not know if that is Honami or not, just that it is a design he saw.
Just based on looks I would guess it is a Sony camera phone rather than Honami. It just doesn't have that mainstream, simple, sleek look that others have reported for Honami. |

Perhaps it was the mysterious device and not honami. Perhaps it will have the same camera as honami but rest of the specs are different from honami IMO

Hope it doesn't have smaller screen. I want the smaller body to make it thinner, and maybe with a cleaner design. But, for now I will wait...

IMO the thickness is not the biggest priority. If you look at the Galaxy s3, note 2, HTC One, Optimus Pro - they're all somewhere between 8.5-9.5mm thick. Then you have this new generation of ultra slim phones like the XZ, XU, and iPhone 5 which are in the 6-7mm range which has been biasing a lot of people. If the Honami ends up being 10-12mm thick, with a large camera akin to those in the renders/concepts, I think that'd be a crazy achievement that could stir up lots of excitement (despite being thicker than the most recent generation). For me, a larger battery life and more tech - which seems to be the way the Honami is headed - is perfect. It's not so incredibly thick that the majority of people will hate its bulk (Samsung Zoom, potentially Nokia EOS), and there is still a large population of people who have been holding onto their old phones, keeping their money until they see a phone that is a big enough improvement that it's worth getting. Those people are going to be so used to 12-15mm phones that the Honami is going to look microscopically thin by comparison AND (hopefully) pack the most cutting edge tech that's worth the money they've been saving.
Or at least that's my hope.
TL;DR - Don't skimp on tech in place of thickness. A bit of extra thickness and weight could be the difference between Q4 2013's superphone and another sub-par Sony flagship.
