Hey hey! Eventually get a chance to stop by and say hi.

Still as disconnected as ever, thanks to our outrageous broadband prices here in SA. Every offering is like R600 with a 3GB cap. Just an idea, but if I spend a day at the office my usage can be anywhere from 200-500mb a day...who in the world can live on 3GB?

Anyway, @ Wanqa, night life is great...but it does come with the zombie-effect in the mornings. I just like the quiet of night, nobody to bother me, the dark, the calm, and occasionally a criminal to chase with a stick. I also feel more creative at night. I try to get to bed early. Like last night at 11 I quickly wanted to install a sound card, and when that failed I was onto a new song on my beautiful new black Strat, so at 12:15 I dragged myself away from the pc and ended up finishing a chapter in the book I am reading.

Oh, Wanqa, if ever here, make a point to visit the Sabie area. It is high on my list of favorite SA places. Then we are talking about God's Window, the Sudwala Caves( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudwala_Caves) (ps. they have this bit in the tour where they switch off all lights, and for the first time I experienced real complete darkness! Wow! I love it!), and a lot more. Check out this link for all the things/places that are close by to Sabie. http://www.sabie.co.za/tour/daytrips.html
Will see if I can get some nice pics from our past trips and post them. Man, I wish i could go hike there again soon. Lots of couples I know do their honeymoons there...

@ Hobbs, about earphones: Good news and bad. he good news, there is some pretty good earphones out there...the bad news: you get what you pay for. Go check out some pages. A good start would be here (http://www.headphonereviews.org/) , but you will have to look hard to find affordable stuff. They have earphones from $31.50 (http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Labs-51MZ0085AA002-Headphones-EP-630/dp/B000EGJZ2O/sr=8-1/qid=1166762669?ie=UTF8&s=electronics) up to earphones that goes for $7500 (More than R50 000!) ( http://www.headphonereviews.o[....]hp?action=view&headphoneId=36)

My experience with headphones: If you pay a R1000 for them, they usually sound like a thousand bucks. If you pay R20 for them, they usually sound like 20 bucks. My favourite brand is Sennheiser, (http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/icm_eng.nsf/root/products_headphones) but they are usually very expensive in SA, where as in Europe you could get them for a fraction of the price. If you have about R300-R500 to spend, you could get half decent earphones.

Hope it helps. And I am sure there are exceptions. I mean, I am fine with my earbuds that came with my phone. They are really not bad, not the best, but good enough for me since I cannot afford better.

I need a holiday. I want to go here:

I hpe I can post again later, but if not, enjoy the weekend guys!

Some seriously fine machinery (et al...) in those pics... how did you capture those love-hearts radiating from the Golf? Integrated Thermal Imaging Application?
Dang, a Hummer sure does swallow up a parking space.
Dig that valance/ scoop on the front of that M6 Tension.

@ Francois,
Ja-nee, almost every Vaalie superbike rider that I have ever spoken to would virtually light up with the mere mention of Sabie, due to that phenomenal, twisty piece of road between Sabie and Hazyview. Apparently it's truly something to experience.
I've really got to check out those parts of SA next time we're in SA, hopefully next July/August.

just checked esato homepage and the N95 is officially the top selling contract phone in the uk.Whats the cheapest package you can get there cause I know over here when a flagship phone is released it always cost an arm,leg and a kidney? lol Another positive thing is after the latest P990i firmware update, you find all the P990i users are crawling out of the woodwork and a lot of positive comments are surfacing.Great stuff.I think its an awesome phone.Should last me a good two years without my heart dropping everytime another 'N95' hits the market.Think Im going to go the stereo BT headset way, just the thought of no wires while listening to music sounds cool.Anyone know where you start if you interested in developing sofware for symbian phones?

A few years ago, SA's Lucas Radebe captained a proud English Premiership Football team.
That team was constantly finishing in the top 5 for a good few years, but financial woes saw them plummet into The Championship.
Today, Leeds United's fortunes just went from bad to worse.
They have gone into administration, and as a result have been docked 10 points from their tally on The Championship table.
The result? Bottom of the Championship and today relegated to League One.
I feel for the fans.
