The CDA is just ......
... Assuming you're in the UK, fill in the details in DaVinci as follows:
- CDA Number: CDA102338/38
- CDA Revision: R6A
- Model: K750i
- Language Variant Name: EUROPE_2
If you're not in the UK, let me know and I shall amend.

Depends if you want to make it a French or Spanish generic handset.
A list can be found here.

So if i use :
CDA102338/52 - R4A - K750i - Generic Trade France
It will be in french only or it will have other language like english (can be use full) ???
As well i saw in the list some CDA without CDA Revision # (R?A)
This number is mandatory ??
Because i would like to go for :
CDA102337/10 ------- K750i - Generic - EU2
so in this case witch CDA Revision should i input ??
Thanks for your patience

Im still running the first version of SE k750, and I have the phone since thursday and till so far no problems I thought.....
However I get to hear from people that they get my voicemail while my reception is totally full when I am at home, furthermore I had now 4 calls with different people which got disconnected after 20 seconds, without any reason....
I would think its the redeption of Orange which would be the problem, but these problems I never had with my previous phones (nokia 6100 and 7610)...
what could this be...? I don't want to lose video quality and Im serious thinking about returning it, with pain in my heart

There is no problem with the Orange network. However there is a problem with the K750i phone.
I have reported this to orange on 4 occasions now and on my last one i got some one who took me serious. What has been done since is beyond me.
Any way I have also contacted SE who is also aware of the problem. The phone doesnt seem to hand the calls over to the next mast quick enough. Also I have noticed that in some places the phone shows no signal, this is however not true. Manual search and the network is there. Place a call and the signal never drops. Soon as you eng the call the Network vanishes. Manual search again and the network is there again.
I have updated to the latest R1L and sending SMS is much better thank the R1A. I used to get a lot of failed messages. with R1L, none at all. Regarding the Miss calls I still get them but not as half as much. Plentyof people on here are saying that the signal doesnt seem to be strong, Me too.
SE did reply saying that they are aware of the problems and a new firmware will shortly be ava to eliminate this and the reception not showing correctly. Hope it does. This is my original post regarding the reception quality

the phone has not hanged since i upgraded to R1L002 last week. simultaneous radio/media player, sms, calls, camera operation. i'm pretty happy with the stability. no network reception problems with my operator too. |

I can't say I've noticed any stability issues. I've had one crash, and that was on the day I got the phone with R1A firmware. I was searching for bluetooth devices IIRC. Absolutely no such problems since.

@darrengf
This is exactly what I had with my K500i on ORANGE. The phone has been flashed to the recent FW R1AE so I think this may be an SE / Orange reception issue. The signal bar, error sending SMS, cant connect to network etc.

it will have english also; But - i bought an unbranded phone in paris with this CDA, and i can't do crap at SEUS about upgrading it -- so i wouldn't advise anybody to burden themselves with this one.

I'm by no means an expert on this. You should be able to listen to ordinary MP3 files on your media player anyway. Yuo need to choose those yuo want obe ringtones and run them thro' the DRM package, which then assigns the DRM label to them and your phone will now allow you to select them as ring tones (but you have to copy the new version to the phone)....
I haven't come across any simple instructions on this package and would value them from someone wh really understands them! |

R1L imression:
i have noticed just a tiny bit on improvemenet in volume in the ear piece volume. actually i think my phone has slowed down and is lagging now with the new software. when i move the cursor around in the menu or, select the name of a person to send a message to, the cursor hang for about 2-3 seconds sometimes. also when opening menus the animation of the menu droping down is not as smooth as it used to be(jerky, as if the frame rate has dropped)
this is getting on my never. my question is how do i roll-back to the older F/W? R1J?
i did all my upgrades at home from SE website. is there a way i can go back to their site and choose R1J? |

So now the question is wath CDA should I take
I guess to take the same that Sebby going to be ok.
My current CDA is :
CDA 102338/19 R16 A
CXC 125953
E_Plus
and on the top i have :
prgCXC125952_EUR_1_CL

I did a little test... on different locations I tested the reception with my old Nokia 6100 and my new SE k750i both on the orange network at the same time (2 different orange numbers)...
The nokia has almost all the time full reception between 80 and 100%.. The K750i (still running on the first firmware) has sometimes a minimal reception even when the nokia has full reception(This happened during really bad weather with much rain)...
I think this is quitte strange with a totally new phone from modern day, the reception is so horrible...
Please help what you guys advice...?

Modern phones do not have as good reception to meet sar levels and smaller handsets. Hence more mobile masts are required to compensate. |
