I may be able to get hold of some US PSPs next week for a little over £200 each, hopefully they'll be the value pack but I don't know for sure yet.

wow so expensive.
go to audiocubes.com and you can ask them to lower the customs value so you wont get taxed

Did you get the 'Value Pack with Ridge Racers Bundle'?
Once you have your psp could you please post some pics of the bundle and give your opinion on the bundle and your experience with the company.
and the final thing, is the price on the site the final cost you have to pay?, ie: no import charges etc. |

The benefits that ElectricBirdLand.co.uk have over all these foreign-based companies and eBay sellers is this:
They are a UK-based company, so are bound by all UK related laws for selling.
You don't pay import duty. VAT is already added to the price.
If there's a problem, they are bound by UK law to sort it out, are easily contactable, and you only have to deal with someone in the UK.
If you buy from them by phone or internet, they are bound by the UK Distance Selling Laws
They are bound by UK law to sell with English power adapters!
They provide a full 12-month UK warranty
If you buy from an eBay seller abroad, or Lik-Sang in Hong Kong you will almost certainly have to pay import duty. On a PSP this can be around £50-60. So that bargain doesn't look so good.
Even if the import company say they'll mark it as a gift on the customs declaration, this is no guarantee you won't have to pay! Customs aren't stupid!!!
If your PSP is dead on arrival from a foreign seller, or develops a fault... what can you do? You have no rights under UK law for a replacement, refund or anything...
So, on the face of it the price from ElectricBirdLand may seem steep compared with eBay prices, but at least you have some protection from UK laws.
Personally, I'd prefer to spend a little more and not worry! Your opinion may differ!

PSP External Wireless Antenna Modification
What would you do if your PSP wireless connection wasn't strong enough? Well, if you have nothing better to do with your time and PSP, why not add on an external antenna!? While this might void your warranty and potentially turn your PlayStation into a Portable exSpensive Paperweight, the added 12 dB in signal strength (5dBi antenna @ 30 feet) might just make this hardware modification worth the risk. For more information, and pictures of the results, check out the article at InformIT.com. |

nice little review there but if you ask sites to mark it down they wont just mark it as gift, they mark the VALUE of the product down so you wont get taxed. as many ppl have experienced with audiocubes.com oh and nearly all import sites give you a free universal adapter
