I agree with Mithrandir. I also had my T68 upgraded this weekend at Semicon SM City. Ok naman ang service, problem lang nga is yung pag-claim nung item. I was offered to either wait until the process is finished para makuha agad, or I could leave pero kailangan pumila uli.

Well I opted to leave na lang muna since marami pa akong kailangan asikasuhin.

@Mithrandir and prolog

Good day sir!!! regarding ur post let me clarify the system of our service ctr here in Sm City, receiving for repair and claiming of units have the same process because we have only 2 TSA (Technical Support Assistants) if we decide that 1 tsa is for receiving and 1 for claiming conflicts will arise when one of the TSA is on her rest day.

As much as we wanted to serve you better we are considering your suggestions regarding the system here, as soon as the new TSA arrives we will have a seperate number for receiving and releasing of units.

Thanx for your continous support and patronage!!!!!

If 1 TSA is efficient enough then there is no need for many tsa which i believe that they dont do anything but to chat, watch girls who passes by their store and eat.

Sir seems your observation is somewhat diff. our TSA are the one who are sitting and busy entertaining the clients and i dnt think its possible for them to chat while eating and assisting clients at the same time and all of them are female TSA's. I dnt think that 1 efficient TSA is not enough sir because it may cause a very long waiting time for our clients to be served because he caters the receiving and claiming of the units. Tnx and good day sir!!!

@clark27 I was wondering if i were in a situation wherein i have to choose between 7 days of chaos and 2 days of long but orderly lines (bec. of day-off), I think my choice would be obvious.
But, of course it's just a product of my imagination and far from my reality. Bec. of this I feel sad coz i can't do anything about it. And i envy you because in your situation (I assume you are in a position to effect those reforms ha) that idea can become a reality. Not only that, chances are, you can make a lot of people happy and satisfied. That in itself is enough for some to act without delay and not wait for the arrival of a saviour in the person of additional TSA.
Of course additional TSA is a far greater improvement. But it should not be a hindrance towards effecting minor changes while waiting for a major solution.
Besides, customers' welfare should not wait and cannot be told to wait (as exact as Sen. Roco's resignation yan tsong). That in my humble opinion should be treated as the holy grail of sales and the paramount concern of every marketing personnel.

@Mithrandir

I get your point sir obviously you will choose a 2 days instead of 7 days . But in our service usually receiving has a more number of clients than claiming thats why we combine the 2 TSA for both service to minimize the long and increasing line of clients.

Clark- yup, more tsa means faster service BUT not in your case. I read that some1 also posted that sm north cs were girl watching instead of repairing or doing paper works for faster releasing; Which branch are you clark? Re chattin, do i need to take some pic as evidence and post it here?
