There are several prototypes, I can not exactly tell you what to do with Sony, but it's going to release a narrow frame smartphone. |

14.6 cm of height is same size of Z phones.
If screen remains 5.2, it would be exactly like XZs.
If it goes 5.5 then bezels are trimmed 5mm each.
Is it possible to use power as fps with design of XA1?

If it is G34xx,as you said, that mean it could be Snapdragon 660? Because of AC WiFi support and Bluetooth 5.0
And if I am correct Snapdragon 660 only got 3CA instead of 4, according to the sentence mentioned in page 57 of fcc document , this device supports 4 downlinks(aka 4CA)
Meaning this have very high percentage that it is the coming 5.2"
Unless you found a CPU which support 4 downlinks and Bluetooth 5.0 and have 802.11AC support

Sony sometimes takes things beyond limits..
Qualcomm said 650 could support up to 20MP.
X has a 25MP sensor.
Maybe there is a way to work on this too.
But in the end it is G83xx, it is exactly like XZs.
Just different on the inside.

I think it won't be like XZs so much
Here is my guess, XZ1 will still be loop design, just because of using more premium material which make it harder to shape, results in larger body width, and it could be slimmer for thickness , as wider body need slimmer body to have the same holding feeling like XZs
And I think all features will be same as XZ Premium except 4K related

This must be last semester of the loop style.
Not sure if I understand what you mean.
A 5.2" screen to be a wider and slimmer phone needs to have bigger sides.
Left /right frames thicker to fit the wider top/bottom.
Sounds harder to use one hand only.
But if is 5.5" , then it is like Premium with shorter Top/bottom.
Still thick, Premium has 7.9mm.
Guess we will find out only on 29th.. 😧
I am not fan of Alkaleido. When I see photos it does not look metal.
Some people say it is like LG G5, you touch and believe it is plastic.
Can't say for sure, I believe no store here has XZ.
I wish I could have chrome instead of aluminum.

Alkaleido is totally metal and place at the back of the phone, and come with a totally plastic frame
totally not like G5, with thick plastic covering metal and pretend to be real metal

I know it is 100% metal.
Just does not feel 100% metal like other phones.
According to the reviews of XZ.
I watched this video...
Sides, bottom, top and buttons are plastic.
Same for lower part of back.
Rest of back is alkaleido metal.
GG4 on the front.

I really want to see something like Metal+Screen only, totally no plastic, or glass back, but it is going to be hard to solve the signal problem or extremely expensive as if really full metal body, meaning it must be made by Titanium or plastic frame between frame and screen like we saw on Z1 and Z2 or plastic signal wire like iPhone
