Got my silver Satio on Saturday from the cpw. I didnt have much time to play with it till Sunday night when I installed handy shell and N drive.
N drive sat nav appears to work fine tho ill need to try it outside to make sure it gets a GPS signal.

The interesting thing about handy shell is when I long presss the menu key the amount of free ram thats displayed. It shows 119mb of ram free!?!
My n97 can only muster 35.4mb with all apps closed and this drops rapidly to around 13mb on the n97 with the FM transmitter and music player open before a reset or crash occurs.

If handy shell is displaying the correct amount of ram then it appears SE have learnt their lesson from the low ram issues of the p990

Has any one sussed if theres an option when in msging for the phone pad to switch to qwerty when the screen auto rotates? My touch diamond 2 does this and most feature phones do this.

I find it annoying having to select qwerty when rotating the screen to landscape.

Message for XULL:
If you want to add Satio support to Opera Mini go to this address with your satio and submit the correct info
http://mini.opera.com/detect

Thanks.
Download FPC Bench a good benchmark/system info for your phone.
Download Pocket Inclinometer for your phone's accelerometer.

FINALY! thanx for answering my question Dgable! So 119mb is what you get after boot up? Im sure its a little more, the OmniaHD has around 140mb RAM at boot up, im sure Satio is around there to? Yep SE learnt their lesson, Satio has 256mb RAM chip unlike the N97 which has 128mb RAM. How much internal memory does your Satio have?

^^Hows the battery life?I belive you have a retail unit?how much did you pay for it?Where did u get it?

The battery life is very very good compared to my C905. Things that help like only connecting to the wifi when you need to browse and once finished it disconnects so its not searching or connected all the time draining the battery.
Another feature i love that's back is the little led on top left so you no when you have a missed call or battery flat etc.
I bought it from Phones 4 u sat morning. Rung over 6 stores till i could find one that would sell it to me sim free.
I paid 489 for it.

Another important thing to do to save battery life is to go to the connectivity menu-> administrative settings -> packet data and choose "Connect when required" instead of the default option "Connect when available". This prevents the phone from connecting on to the HSDPA network when data transfer is not happening.
