If you shop @ Tesco they've a £25 off when you spend £25 instore. W910i is £99.97, so becomes £74.97 (no top up needed) if bought when spending £25 e.g. on norm groceries or stocking up with Christmas beer etc. |

Noticed online Tesco mobile are selling the SEK810 for £104 with top up. How come i have not seen so much of the K810 around as the K800? I would buy that phone and unlock it as i loved my old trusty K800i with its great signal and reliability. |

Noticed a few weeks ago my local Tesco had the SE W890i (silver) in for £129, they were in large clear plastic sucurity boxes that you just took to the checkout to be opened and de-tagged. The thing was they looked to me like sim-free stock just bungled up with an O2 sim pack ie generic SE box and sim pack loose, and no network sticker on the box. I was sorely tempted but resisted, went back a couple of weeks later and they'd all gone, the O2 SE 890i's they'd got now were all in O2 PAYG branded boxes, so I assumed locked and branded. |

Can't you make at least one post without moaning about O2? You've left them, congrats, now stop harrasing their other customers...
Anyway, it's £14.99 when you buy one of a few Samsung's on pay as you go, not on it's own.

If you had read the post properly i was not moaning about O2. I was making a comment about mobile broadband in general from ALL networks which i find is very slow. I use mobile broadband everyday and its poor. I make a comment if you dont like it then dont respond.

Mobile Broadband isn't meant to be fast, the whole idea is, in terms of speed, you have phone internet, mobile broadband, home broadband, in that order. Mobile broadband is only as fast as the networks, and they weren't designed to handle the full Internet via a laptop, but the networks brought it in early.

ah, now there, in all this D vs B, I have to disagree... of course mobile broadband is supposed to be fast.
There are many 7.2mbps capable devices out there and in some countries (like mine back 'ome), they can actually get close to achieving these near home broadband speeds.
On the other hand, every time I do a speed test on O2, I almost never see more than 1mbps, and that is dissapointing in these HSDPA iPhone 3g days
... but all this is probably not too relevant in a "bargain phone thread"
