The US price doesn't include local sales tax, so add the equivalent UK tax of 17.5% to the £64 and it gives you £75.20
Play.com are selling it for £79.99 delivered, so that makes a difference of just £4.79

"£85 isn't that a bit high for an OS upgrade??"
Have you seen the prices for the equivalent Vista package?
Vista: Ultimate Edition RRP £369.99
Apple don't sell cut-down versions of OS X, so for £85 you're getting the full works. Considerably less than getting the full Vista...

I have a eboot.pbp file that i would like to convert to an iso and burn to a cd. Just wondered if there was a mac app to do this at all. Or some other way of getting it on a cd to use in pcsx. It is a PS1 game.

While there's talk of iPhone's...
L'unlocked iPhones across the Channel
Has Apple met its Waterloo? French law looks to have forced Jobs to flog unlocked iPhones in France. Last one on the Eurostar's a sissy
The French press agency, AFP, has confirmed that Apple and Orange have finally agreed the details of the deal to sell the iPhone in France from 29 November.
France was conspicuously absent from the round of iPhone announcements both here and in Germany and although Orange had effectively confirmed the deal, Apple had remained silent until now.
The reason for the delay? Complex French laws against operator exclusive handset deals that mean the French iPhone will also have to be sold unlocked, or 'nu' (naked) as they say en français – ooh la la. Apple's lawyers have now seemingly decided there's no way round it.
There's no word yet on how much the officially unlocked version will be (the Orange locked phone is €400) or whether it will be available on the November launch day. French law stipulates it has to be within six months, which would put unlocked iPhone day as 29 May 2008 at the latest.
But before you book your ferry tickets, there could be a sting in the tail. Word is Apple will be disabling all languages but French. Still, you've got six months to learn.

Oh and I'm pretty convinced that I'm gonna ditch Windows and have my next desktop as an iMac...
Oooh, the new ones look sweet, especially with Leopard!

Safari is becoming rather slow at loading pages and alot of the time i get the cannot connect to server message displaced on screen, and i have to refresh 20-30 times to get a page to load.
I've reset safari and cleared the cache but it hasn't improved. Anything else i can try to speed it up. I'm trying out firefox at the moment which is ok but i do prefer to use safari.

Just got my hands on Final Build of Leopard (Gold Master), will try and install it at the weekend to much to backup, mind you not much has changed from 9A559 from what I hear but hopefully more stable. Still in two minds after 9A559 crashed on me badly and lost hell of alot of stuff I was yet to backup.
So my advise probably wait for 10.5.1 as I really dont think this GM is gonna be any good, I expect Apple to bust out an update in about 2 weeks of the official realease as they still testing internal clients.
But all in it kicks as*
@haynesycop Unison doesnt work or at least on the last candidate it wasnt working and I spoke to them and they working on a realease as we speak. Though I say all hope is not lost as you still have NZBDROP that is pretty good as it will check your RAR's to make sure they not corrupted saving you time in downloading PAR's. It also bangs your music straight to itunes and movies straight to the folder.

I think you just do "Get Info" on the file and choose "TV Show" from the pop-up rather than "Movie".
Can't check exactly where it is as I'm at work, but hopefully you'll find it!
