Morning. Don't worry kerry, agencies are like that. Only thing is they don't have to give notice when your job ends. They would have known at least a week before telling you.

Not necessarily Dean. Especially in the beginning of a work contract, the employer can cancel it without any warning. I worked at one of those agencies for a yr and a half  not the most rewarding job I've ever had!
Still happy everyday that I decided to leave there and come to work at the hotel instead

Is unemployment becoming an issue in the Uk? I know it is here (maybe it's just that ppl are spoilt... there are still plenty not-so-pleasant-jobs out there that no1 wants to do... on the other hand plenty of ppl (and numbers growing rapidly) without a job)
