@103ssv:

superb your world collection, congrats, I am still missing the "voice stream" one. The next picture is for you, just to complete the "world" part

Something's worrying me about the future...

As you will probably all know, there is talks of mobile operators switching off 2G networks.

When the 2G mobile networks are eventually switched off (which will of course happen - not for a while, but it will), does that mean we won't be able to use our beloved Ericsson phones any more? Or will 2G signals still be offered on the 3G and 4G networks?

It just doesn't seem fair to FORCE people to "upgrade" to a newer phone, when all they ever use their phone for is calling and texting. I'm only in my 20s but I am in a very small minority of phone users who have no interest in going on the internet on my phone. I use my Sony Ericsson K850i daily for calling and texting (primarily texting), and use the camera and listen to music on the phone occasionally. No internet use, for that I use my laptop at home.

So, after the switchovers, will I still be able to use my classic Ericsson A1018s if I want to? Or will it be time to polish it, then put it in its original box for the last time, and consider throwing it in the bin?

@bart Yes, I was thinking it looks like a K700 too. The SE P910i PDA also has similar style buttons.

I know the P910i buttons are different, especially the upper part of them. But they have a similar style and shiny silver appearance, you can see the family resemblance.

I have added a few ISA-12 Covers to the collection. This is five out of nine I know about.
I have Disco, Fabric, Halcyon Daze, Camogirl and Wired Sentience. How many was there?

I now also have a A2618s Michelle proto transparent. Nice! Thank you @Hanky.

Hi to all! Very interesting what you present here for the moment. I wanted to tell you, that I have now my own homepage for Ericsson phones, I will keep the picasa web albums, but I just liked to change the appearance of my page, you can't do that with picasa, no deal with google

So here is my new page: http://www.oldericsson.ch

Enjoy, and feel free to leave a comment on my new homepage, I would appreciate. Pictures are in HD with music in the slide show

15.2.13 some updates on my hompage and...if you like me to ad a link there for you, just tell me. oldericsson@gmail.com

@ san-si the color seems to indicate that these were for the Japanese Ericsson based DoCoMo phones.

@103ssv:

yes this little thing would be great for the Docomo phones, but as I have all the three of them (205/207/209), I can say, that this MP3 player can not be connected to these phones, it will not fit...

Update on my page Just have a look: www.oldericsson.ch (More? Yes...)
