I am so glad we won that...and so easily:-) Everyone is in a good mood today:-)
@ Kryptik, have you tried another sim card? Maybe another networks sim card? Maybe it is the service provider...never know...worth a try i suppose.
@ Rhino8, welcome back! So where did you go, what did you do?

@Rhino: Welcome back, you never hinted at having any German ancestry. Hope you enjoyed your visit there. Did you manage to use your cellphone?

wb Rhino, to the land of cold beers and hot women, lol
@Francois, it stopped boet, as suddenly as it started. Did a hard format, haven't heard an unsolicited peep from my phone as yet... Maybe it was simply being temperamental because i introduced it to a Virgin simcard the other day, but i didn't allow it to get to know the sim in the fullest Biblical sense

See that will be making an announcement tommorow regarding a new version of the P-series...there's a already a thread in the rumours section and and some mock pics of the "P700"...doubt they'll use that name.
Why can't they just go for the P810 or P850

I'm trying to not get too excited about it; releases of late have been a bit of an anti-climax for me.
I'm also trying hard to not be so pessismitic though...I hope prove me wrong, but I don't foresee any quantum leap forward, spec-wise anyway...
Maybe I'm just becoming more cynical and less easily-enthralled as I get older..

@Rhino8: hi. I use a m600i and it is a fantastic phone if u dont need a camera. Make sure u update to the latest firmware (r6). The keypad takes some time to get used to but once u do, u will never wanna use another phone again. Its amazing. The interface is quick. There is apparently an os upgrade coming in june which should make the device even better. I bought a 500mb data bundle for R189 on my prepaid sim and it really allows me to maximise the use of my phone. I use opera a lot, rss feeds and e-mail. The data bundle is worth it. Anyway, let me know if u have any hassles. I also have a few cool sites for software. Cheers |

COOL, i just been searching the web for software, but my google skills dont seem to be workin any good today....
I DO HAVE A 2 GIG PREPAID BUNDLE, AS I use my phone as a modem,
how about you email me a few links to software sites i can check out to rhino888(at)gmail.com
I just been thinking, my sony K700 still working as a modem at least 6 hours a day (even tho batt only lasts 5 minutes)
Where have you ever seen a phone like that, 4 years with at least 6 hours daily bluetoothe modem usage....
