The main problem is the app won't let me past the first stage of setting it up on the S4. If I open the app it dispalys 'unablea to complete setup' and says something about my wireless network being turned off.
I can basically do nothing, I have a useless BBM app on my phone.
Ah yes, same issue as my friend's, not sure how he solved it. I'd say try set it up over a WiFi network, even if you use another phone as a Hotspot if there's no WiFi.

Ran AnTuTu on my GS4 Octa on Android4.3 and it managed quite a good 28465:
I've noticed Google Services and GMail making large contributions to batt drainage though, now thats odd, but batt life in general has been great.

sorry nothing conclusive from my cousin.she cant remember what she did to get it to work other than going outside into her garden and all of a sudden she never got that error in the setup stage.Hope you've managed to sort it out.
I've uninstalled my BBM.I just noticed a serious battery drain after installing it.Most people dont seem to have that problem. Also having two messaging apps on my phone isnt ideal.Whatsapp wins this round.Maybe try it again later but for now I dont need it.

it's cool Hobbs. Thanks anyway. A colleague of mine with a Note II also had it working out of the blue without doing anything.
I suppose it will one day decide to work. I am also thinking of uninstalling it, I hate apps that are useless even though this one seems to be a temporary issue.
Anyway, whatsapp and I are still cool.

Just got an update today to MJ9 Samsung already doing revisions to 4.3, MJ9 is the 2nd revision, it was just 23mb and seems to consist mainly of bug and stability fixes
ANYWAY
Those of you on 4.3, did you notice Samsung changed the High Touch Sensitivity of Display for Gloves to Auto Adjust Sensitivity according to Material??? Truly forward thinking by Samsung here, as the displays already high sensitivity now remains consistent no matter whether you're using your fingers, or got gloves on or have wet hands. The freaky part being you barely have to touch the display its so sensetive, as I type this I'm typing very lightly, not touching the screen sometimes, just gliding my thumbs over and its working beautifully

Samsung Galaxy S4 beats HTC One in ‘uncheatable’ gaming benchmark
"When Samsung was accused of cheating in benchmarks on the Galaxy S4 by making its hardware run at higher clock speeds when benchmark apps were run, people were quick to jump at the chance of throwing curses and insults at the Korean manufacturer. That stopped when it was discovered that almost every manufacturer does the same cheating in benchmarks, a fact that even more strongly proved that benchmarks are never an indication of how the device will perform in actual usage.
Well, now a startup called GameBench, whose founders previously worked at chip companies like ARM and MediaTek, have come up with a “uncheatable” benchmark that can be used to discover the true gaming capabilities of a device, while corroborating the scores given to devices by other benchmark apps. GameBench’s app (currently in beta) was used to test both the Galaxy S4 and HTC One in gaming performance, and it turned out that Samsung’s “fake” benchmark scores are actually closer to its real-life performance than other devices (in this case, the HTC One’s).
GameBench’s app runs in the background while an actual game is being played and takes numerous measurements, including the frame rate and amount of battery drain. While the S4 was a bit heavier on the battery, it delivered smoother frame rates in four different games. In Real Racing 3, the Galaxy S4 delivered a frame rate of 26, considerably ahead of the One’s 21 fps; meanwhile, in Minion Rush, which is nowhere near as graphically advanced as Real Racing 3 but still has a lot of things going on on the screen at any time, the S4 scored almost 30 points in frame rate, while the One was far behind with only 19 fps."
More here
I don't think any need convincing that Samsung are the best at optimizing the hardware for the SW in their phones anyway but an interesting article anyway.

Congrats Rikken
Enjoying the newly improved and beastly S4?
All
Is it just me or does the 4.3 update take little RAM? I often find my S4 showing only around 860mb RAM used, seems very frugal

Jepp, you know it's faster than the fast one and none of the heating issue I sometimes experienced on the I9505 great batterylife too
