I think I just visualized how the dual-slide phone from SE looks like. It has been there all along. I just didn't pay attention to it. I think SE will blow our minds this MWC 2009. |

It suddenly makes the Tube sound very attractive.
You're a bit wrong here.
I use X1 on it's FIRST FW and it works very well!
Not comparable to any previous fiascos.
I mean it's not a device which requires such care or huge bug fixing. |

Fair enough, I wouldn't know exactly since I don't own one myself. Still, for that price it should need no fixing or tweaking IMO. |

You can get an X1 unlocked and without branding for £400 here. That's a very competitive price! |

that's a great price. The cheapest i've seen X1a is for around 650 USD on ebay...
Though at this point, if SE doesn't announce anything worthwhile at MWC, I will get a Palm Pre once the GSM version is released purely for the UI. Though the HW specs aren't as grand as the X1, the UI has me impressed and even Apple nervous... heh.

I tried the 5800 last time in a store. Of course i spend not a hole day for tests but I' ve got the chance to test the interface, handling, camera and sound.
All in all I have to say that this phone is really good. I love the calender!
Best calender I know. Of course not everything is perfect but for this price...
Hope that we'll see a kind of 5800 from SE.
At the moment I think hikaru will be my next handy - but not until xmas because I expect 450-500€ @ release

Wow the rumor mill and the leak river are tighter then a ducks arse in SE land. I am expecting MWC to be a surprise on SE's side and SE's alone. Too many leaks from other companies would just give us what we know. On the other hand all we know from SE is what 2 phones? Yes that would seem about right.(unlike samsung who should have about 10+ phones we know about and another 3 that should dazzle us only a little and their pixel war barrier breaker) |

I resell phones in Lithuania, with our countries warranty I bought some new X1's for ~320EU |

Well you can see that the Beibei project wasn't a waste of time at all, after extensive testing and much money spent  will keep its colour for the C510!
I should retract my comments about the N99, there will be a 8MP phone from Nokia but N99 is probobly the wrong name. If a true N99 comes it is likely to be later in the year. Still, Nokia has some good high end stuff to come at MWC.
Even though Samsung are to show a 12MP phone, others will follow very quickly. LG and will match this since they are all at a similar stage, I wouldn't be surprised if they are all released at a similar time. |

LG will match Samsung immediately with 12mp. SE will follow.
Nokia will show up 8mp mobile plus 1-2 touchscreens. |

Yes but will SE launch a touch screen only phone that's thin and has a 5mpx camera with a finger friendly interface? Or will it let everyone else do it and Nokia walk all over them?
Do like the X1 though, I just want one without the keyboard. I'm thinking along the lines of the HTC Touch Diamond.

Well Santa I hope you are right, I like my G900 a lot, but I can't stand having a phone where I keep loosing the pen! Hence I want to move to the finger!!!! |
