friend ko may binebenta ng p900 for 37k. d ko alam kung saan nya nakuha. d ko binili dahil alang warranty at baka prototype lang yun. |

Siomai. buti na lang konti pa lang nakikita kong naka P800 (una dun sa semicon yung pinaupgrade ko yung firmware, pangalawa may nakasalubong ako sa may ortigas @ pangatlo sa may elevator) LOL

aba. medyo mura. kakatakot nga lang walang warranty. ok lang kahit prototype basta yung firmware lang kailangang i-flash para maging katulad ng final release (pero nde ko pa rin bibilhin ;P

kung kailangan lang i-flash yung firmware... ibalot dapat yung p900 sa unan, tapos kung gagamitin dapat laging nakalatex gloves. Gawin ito ng hmm... isang taon (isang taon lang naman warranty di ba?) tapos pwede ng gamitin ng normal  |

I see a P800 in every corner. In my department... 3 kami naka P800.
In my company (commercial bank) all center heads were given the P800. (All branch managers were given the Amazing Phone -- Smart kasi network ng office ko).
Dati nakaktakot i-display and P800... baka manakaw. Ngayon, eveybody's displaying their P800. Gusto yata nila manakaw P800 nila to give them a reason to buy the P900. Hehehe. I'm planning on keeping my P800 for another year (matiis ko kaya?). And if ever mawala siya or masira (knock on wood)... I would probably get a cheaper phone. Gusto ko yun treo 600 (features are similar to p800 minus bluetooth and smaller screen but significantly cheaper)... meron ba nun sa Pinas? |

haaaay naku. Dati nagbabalak akong bumili ng Treo 270 kaso yun nga naging problema ko walang akong mapagbilhan dito (pinakamalapit eh Hong Kong... di bale sana kung napunta ako dun tapos problema ko pa kung magka masira -- buti na lang at hindi natuloy. Kahit may QWERTY bulky pa rin para sa akin)

mga gano katagal magpa-update ng firmware? reliable ba yung sa semicon? nagtanong kasi ako sa semicon sa sm southmall, meron daw silang ganoong service. ok kaya sa kanila? |

I don't trust semicon (pls. check the semicon thread for more gripes and horror stories). I upgraded mine in SE Solutions here in Makati (they also have a thread here). Took only a few hours. Pero taga-south ka. Are you willing to travel? |

ok na. hindi ako sa semicon nagpunta. kasi nagtanong ako sa southmall, 500 daw pa-upgrade ng firmware. edi nag-alangan ako sa presyo, kasi 450 lang sa smartnet.
sa smartnet ako pumunta. hinanap namin ng girlfriend ko kanina. kasi may nagbigay ng directions don (di ko napansin yung name, nagpost lang din dito. thanks nga pala sa kanya, para don sa directions).
ok ang service don. wala pang 1hour yung pag-ayos sa P800 ko, tapos masaya pa yung mga tao. except for the cashier, siguro may period. ang taray e. hehehe!
R2F na yung firmware ko sa wakas. chaka hindi na nagloloko (ok na yung mga corrupt messages, nwala na. chaka dami ding nadagdag na features)
ok sa smartnet, may parking pa sa likod. chaka buti hindi ako naligaw. wala kasi akong alam sa part ng makati na yon. puro edsa-arnaiz at edsa-ayala lang alam ko. yung mga papuntang glorietta lang at greenbelt. hehe!
may video recorder na app ba? sino meron? pa-email naman po. salamat! |
