Cheers Caspa. When you do happen to use it on O2 can you report back if picture messages can be sent and recieved at normal resolution of 640x480 as I had problems recently with a phone not available in the UK on the O2 network. the pictures were resized to 60x80!

got my new O2 work sim so can test this out for you now... so i simply need to send a pic via mms to an email address and check the size it comes out? how bout when it asks if you want to resize the pic as it may be to large for the recipient?

Hi Capsa, resizing will occur anyway if the picture you are trying to send is to high a resolution so you will need to say yes when the phone asks this. Also if you could try sending a picture of 640x480 or higher to the phone to see what you recieve too that would be great.

There's something strange with my g900. When I press the camera-button on the side it doesn't go to the camera application or it doesn't take a picture. Is this normal?

//edit:also, when i press the camera-button on the side my g900 does nothing, it doesn't automatically go to the camera application...

make sure you are pressing the camer button all the way down. the second button click is a bit too deep ,and the camera is activated only when u press the button completley.

Oh thank you, works fine now!

Thanks,

@jafarq
you can either choose to do one letter at a time or write a full word.
for full word writing goto
settings->
text input->
input mode->
then choose more->
select setup->
tick 'multi-character recognition'
also i suggest recognition speed to be set to max (to the + symbol)

I had my G900 replaced because of the large amounts of dust under the screen. My new one turns out to have the same problem :s

Big News guys.

It seems the G900 is on the brink of full UK release. I had my hands on one for the first time today in CPW! They only had one model in, which they were willing to sell to me, but it was the demo phone which people had been trialing so i decided against it until they get some more in.

But anyways, it seems it will be available in mass within the next week i imagine. It was amazing when they finally appeared with the G900 in a box today after ive been asking every week for the past 2 months pretty much when they are going to have it in.

Must admit, its a very nice piece of kit. Its only available on o2 £35 contract if you want the phone free. 600 mins and unlimited texts.

Hopefully the phone will be available online via o2 soon where a better deal can be aquired. Anyways, i hope that helps everyone like me waiting for it in the UK.

i got it sim free and I am using o2 simplicity £20 a month and you get 600 mins and 1000 texts plus its only a monthly contract.

I dont like getting tied into 12 months contract.
