This is a good news
Just try to give me some points the nokia 5800 can't do while iphone can and I will switch to iphone
I hope ibluetooth will not take ages before being released,it's so fun to send and receive tunes and pics from a phone to another
What make me not like the 5800 is its screen at direct sunlight,it's still visible but games and apps are no more enjoyable |

Meh, posted this before in another thread.
I use the Griffin Elan Form Black case, it's nice and easy in the hand and to hold. I recommend it to anybody who want's a leather case.
I'm trying to get Eclectic Clock and SlideWidget both running at the same time, but it's quite hard actually Lol.

Hi everyone!
My friend wants an iPhone..... is it better for her to wait for next month?
I know everything for now is rumours.. but some comments might have more truth than others...
She can buy a cheap pay and go if she waits.. but she is impatient.

Ofiaich, It's a tough one! Patience is a virtue It's difficult to tell whether there will be much worth-while improvement in the latest yet-to-be announced iPhone, however it's mainly going to operate the same... OS 3.0 obviously will give the current 3G some much needed improvements. It's a shame they havent started to sell the 3G's off cheaply yet. Personally i know i would regret it if i got the iPhone now and then the new model came out 2 months down the line - but thats just me!

I would wait, personally. It's quite possible that a new and improved model will land in shops in June. There will most likely be an announcement on or around 8th June and Apple usually turn things around very quickly, it's not like SE where they announce something in February and it hits the shops in December.
As good as the 3G is, and as nice as the OS3.0 features we know about are, I suspect the newer phone will probably be worth waiting for. It's bound to have a better camera with video, and there may well be a few other surprises.
More importantly, they really don't appear to be lowering the price of the 3G at all, so it's not like there's a great deal to miss out on right now. If they slash the price or contract commitment or whatever at the start of June then maybe think again, but otherwise wait and see, you'd be gutted to pay full price for a 3G and then have the 4G (or whatever they're going to call it) replace it on the exact same tarrif a few weeks later.

I am due on upgrade on o2, Since 17th of this month and I've been thinking about exactly the same thing whether I should get the 3g or not. Im currently using the 2g without the data tariff so I really do need the 3g for Internet on the move but I guess I'm gonna wait till apple makes it clear in June. The contracts nowadays are two long to be going ahead without a careful thought 18 months have now been stretched to 24 months and 2 Years using a same phone is a lot of time!!
I might just even go for the N97 if It releases an earlier than the new iphone.

The latest rumour is the new phone will be in shops on July 17th following an announcement on June 8th. Randomn (possibly made up) specs include an OLED screen, rubberised back, twice the memory, better battery, 3.2mp camera with video recording and editing, and a "light-up" Apple logo on the back that doubles as a flash.
