DocTorpor or PK,

Can you tell me whether the phone has a LED light which flashes to indicate missed calls or text messages?

Also does it have a key on the side to pause/unpause the media player?

Thanks,

Ash

There is a wide LED above the connectorplughole at the bottom. It is as wide as the connectorplughole itself (2 cm).
Its red while charging (nice effect with the green light of the dockingstation!), green when fully charged en flashing green with missed calls, SMS, etc.

thanks for the info Doc! My P910a is in bad condition (physically and mechanically) and I planned on replacing it with a P990i in the coming weeks. Recently I had the chance to play with a P990i with the newest firmware, and it seemed relatively stable to me.

But now with this P700, I will have to wait for it!

I don't think this was asked after reading through the whole thread: does the P700 support A2DP bluetooth profile?

It will certainly support A2DP. It has full BT 2.0 support.
Would make sense since its predecessors M600i, P990i and W950i all support A2DP already...

At the bottom? So you can only see it when the phone is upside down?

Location of LED is pretty perfect for me. Most of the time I will have a/the phone on my desk: screen up, connector at the bottom facing towards me. That way, the LED is allways blinking 'in my face'

hi ^-^/) ))

is it possible to get a picture of working LED .
i have a little LED fetishism ^-^

most of the "old school" phones got blinking LEDs nowadays their number is very small.sometimes i just dont notice the vibrations ,so just love the idea of getting a visual sign of a missed event.

Any Word if SE is planning on making a P700i for the USA/Canada market? This looks like it would be a good upgrade to my K790a. It would need at least 850/1900 and EDGE, but HSDPA on the 850/1900 band would make it perfect.

just started using the red and black theme from the P700 and it makes my M600 even swifter, really looking forward to the P700, even with its dodgy LED placement!
