i finally went back to ericsson after a long stint on the darkside. the last ericsson i owned was the 388 along time ago. I picked up a t610 voda crap a month ago, i must say it has some issues, but nothing is perfect.
anyone know where to get a cheap t28 datacable in syd so i can flash the firmware.
also a condom style cover and se desktop stand.

Why you have to flash it yourself? Just bring your phone to service centre and its free to upgrade firmware !

If you're looking for a "condom case" for a T610, try ebay. You'll be able to get one for under $10. I got one for my girlfriends T610 coz she's a bit of a clutz with her phone.

Hallo all, Sydney member here, round Parra area to be more specific. Have a T68i, MCA-20, and HBH-60, very happy with the whole SE kit after having 3 Nokias previously
While I'm here, anyone got any ideas on where I can go to get spares for SE phones? My volume slider thing has fallen off the side of my phone and it's annoying me quite a bit now.

Hey Simon how are u? Yes there is a service centre which is called fonebiz. They are located on the Princess hwy in Rockdale. Contact number is:9556 2088. They are an arthorized Sony Ericcson Service centre. I have both my t68i and P800 flashed there. However... i was unsuccessful with the firmware upgrade with my girlfriends T610 (Vodaphone) handset. I might try plan B now and remove the logo off the front and the back as i have read elsewhere on this forum that it has been successfully done.
Let me know if u have any problems....

On the Gold Coast
just bought my first SE phone - t610 - after a decade of Nokias, the last of which was a 7650 which died a major death !
kinda like the T610 but think there's a way to go before it's the perfect phone (ho hum)... but, it's the best of the bunch at the moment (if the 7650 had Bluetooth though, I'd never have switched)

Just bought two T610's. I am a web nerd from way back. About to make the switch to coding sites for phones...
I run heaps of sites ranging from porn to ecommerce so will be interesting to see the uptake on mobiles over the next few months...
Ive been waiting for wap 2 for ages to start being sold on phones... Down with shitty .wml - go xhtml mp |
