Hi I'am a Nokia 9500 Communicator owner(version 4.51). I love this phone! I got my phone 6 months ago in the Philippines, now Im using it with T-Mobile USA. Atlast a triband communicator! I use wi-fi at home when connecting to the internet and GPRS on the go. Great phone although there are some bugs like the repeat function doesnt work at all when playing mp3 and a problem resetting call duration time. Which I do monthly at the end of my bill period.

Aya, how is your communicator? Do you also encounter some minor glitches? What is your current firmware version? I heard that the latest version now supports blackberry feature!

Mine is 4.44(1), the earliest version I believe. And this one was obviously for theItalian market, as all keys are printed in Italian: Telefono (for telephone), Rubrica (for Contacts) etc And yes, it does has some minor glitches but is generally quite stable.

None of our networks here in Nigeria are looking at Blackberry, so its not going to be a plus for some of us

Guys, you need to take a look at the new improved iDesk, a great replacement for the built-in Desk on the 9500/9300. Available at My-Symbian.

I'am using powerdesk from Nokia. It is available for download at the Nokia 9500 Communicator Mobile website.
