yes, you can install the file manager separately or install it with the pc suite and once installed you get a windows explorer style view of the folders on the K750 for easy drag and drop between the phone and pc
the memory stick contents are visible directly in windows explorer as a separate drive letter
whats more the transfer is done at true USB speeds and so is very quick

That new activity menu thing is very interesting, turned my message alert back to the standard one thou cause i prefer that - is that the replacment for the right side button, which on mine now only reads menu and i don't think can be altered? |

ok thanks for telling me that info. i tried out the phone in o2 shop yesterday and was glad that moving between the diff icons in the menu was fast, since last phone i had was k700 i had sold it, but one of the main probs was that it was slow in moving around menus, whats the battery life like people ? and how is it like holding the phone against ur ear, for a long period, since i remember with the k700 i always used to get a sore ear, like it kinda jabbed into my ear the phone.hope its comortable with the k750 |

how easy is it, to transfer music and video files from the computer to the k750i and vice versa, can it be done easily, though the usb cable supplied? |

Once all the drivers are installed and the connection set up (there's an amazing variety of drivers installed even under Windows XP) the Memory Stick appears as removable storage under My Computer and files can simply be copied across.

Yes, as of yesterday they don't. And it seems you get a different answer as to when they'll have it depending on who you speak to.

those lucky enough to own a 750i - if you got it from an o2 store, i'd like to see a picture of how much branding there is on the menu system
thanks

I dont have one yet (got one on reserve) but as far as i know and everyone has stated, only the WAP Browser icon is changed from the standard SE globe to a o2 logo, otherwise everything else is standard i believe. |

I was using the mp3 last night and it is so much better than the k700. You can activate it when the phone is locked so long as the head phones are in, you can then skip the tracks by holding down the volume up down buttons.
I also love how the camera lens cover activates the camera whether it is locked or not.
When sending a big full size photo by MMS the phone automatically resizes it. Saves any editing on the phone before sending. changed a 500kb file down to 45kb.
Getting the memory card in/out is a bit of a pain if you don't have finger nails, but if that is the only problem I can find with the phone. |

I just called the eshop, and they told me they didnt know O2 had the phones already. He also said sim free the phone would be about £300-£350, and that they wouldnt get it until Friday at the very earliest, or even next month !
It would appear i'll have to wait for CPW to get the phone hopefully before the end of the month for bang on £300. :'(
