Quick question, does SMan automatically compress your contacts now if you edit a contact while SMan is open?
Today I added a contact to my phone and a little window popped up that said compressing and showed a status bar. I've never seen this happen before and I assume it is because of SMan. Am I correct in this assumption? |

As much as I would like SMan to take credit for that, that is actually done by the contacts application. The problem with it is that we do not know under what conditions does it initiate a compress of the database. However, the conditions do not seem to be very good as users have reported very inflated databases that do not compress under normal use. SMan provides that functionality under user control and reports any savings from invoking it.
In short, to your question, the answer is "No."

@ ajack.... Thanks for great app! I just bought p910 and was missing sth like this from the very first minute ) One question: I was trying to play with SMS network query and nothing worked so far
Can you please clarify - should the quering SMS contain only keyword or keyword+some command or something? Thanks! |

ajack: Have been putting Sman to good use over the weekend. Especially the file manager, so thanks for that!
Could you let me know if you're considering any of my proposed changes to the notifications feature? Or whether you think it's just not worth changing.
Cheers! |

And again Is it possible in any way with Sman (maybe in a future version) to just have the green led blinking untill you read the sms...?¿? |

if you set the keyword to "is" on your UIQ device and somebody want to know where you are, they simply SMS to your device "iswhere" where "where" is the location query keyword and they have to be together with no spaces.

No such changes are planned.

We do not have access to the LED lights and thus are unable to control them.

@ajack: for the network location service, would it be possible for SMan to take as default the information provided by the Cell Information Service, if no particular name is assigned to that cell?
The reason I am asking is that here we have an excellent Cell Information System, which is street-based in certain cities. Hence, there would be no need for me to manually enter a name for that cell/group of cells. |

Thanks again for S-Man one small cosmetic complaint though, if you have a dark top bar theme the new Sman icon looks really scrappy, any way I can revert to the last one you were using? |

Yeah... that's the problem when both developers own P800 units.
Sorry, no way of replacing the icon. Will take note of that and make sure SMan v1.5 has a better icon.
