yer i hate it not only is it difficult to replace a sony casing compared to say a nokia but the wear on mm p9xx's is ridiculous and they cost a bomb.

Well the Mobiado Professional is the first and only CNC machined mobile phone.

We used aircraft aluminum to build a strong yet light body, silicone carbide polished it, and then anodized it to produce a ceramic surface for the toughest of uses. The buttons are stainless steel and the screens are abrasive resistant acrylic. [addsig]

How about fibre glass, like the body work of sports cars. Very light and loads stronger than plastic.

SE hv yet to make transparent covers/body... personally its not my style.. but it wud be interesting. Leather/textile exchangable covers wud be nice.. like the ones in Z600 or V800 with exchangable covers.. so it able to match ur clothing (Levis jeans, LV designs, etc)

Maybe something organic and recyclable? Perhaps dried banana skins? Or for the more organically minded, how about some Cannabis leaves?
