Hi everyone,
I have the same problem with osps, ordered one on the 10th Nov still waiting for it now...have called twice because I was assured it was going to come last monday. Then I was assured it was coming today..(no show)Today was the last day I was willing to wait.......and has anyone noticed that after they take out the "£69" they take out a further £30 commission with makes it £99.99..the same price carphone warehouse is doing for.....(this was the first time I have strayed away from the norm.................never again...) Just leaving now to go and pick up one from me local CPW they have seven in stock.
(Let me go call osps and my bank to cancel the order)

Nightmare continues... cancelled order with OSPS today as CPWH said they had one left, got there they had sold it to someone else, where do they get these monkeys from... drove to another store across london where they had 4 left only to fall a credit check with orange, because i have just moved address or because i had already ordered a phone from OSPS on orange and it may have looked dodgy, i don't know but I've had enough. what worse is that I've just had to reorder through OSPS and join the back of the que aaaaarrrrrrhhhhhhh |

Amazing - when I checked www.mobileshop.co.uk at lunch time the web site claimed "in stock". Probably sold out within a few hours! www.smalltalk.co.uk have also had a trickle of stock (but web site claims no stock). Worth trying if anyone is looking for a contract phone.

Yeah yesterday I saw the mobile shop thing, and i said to myself that its still going to the same like osps, today i called them and they said out of stock and that they wont get any till next week, but they adviced me that if i place my order now i wont be getting it this week, at least they were honest not like osps, they just want your credit card details. I think Orange should be aware of how osps operate.

I will say that when I first called to order a P900 they told me straight off that I would have to wait a week. But since then, all they have done is push the delivery date further and further away into the distance.
I ordered on 13th November. I sold my cr@ppy 7210 to pay for it. In the meantime I am using a cr@ppier Siemens S30 brick and OSPS are making me feel old and tired.
What's going to happen if next week OSPS advise that there has been another setback? I'm gonna call Watchdog if that happens.

Well I ordered from OSPS. I ordered on a Thursday and gave all my details only to be told at the end of the conversation that they had none in stock. I was told a couple of days and they would call me. On the Monday I called just to check my order and was told that they were receiving stock that day. On the Tuesday evening I got a call from the sales rep who informed me my phone would be there the next day - and at 07:30 it was!! So not too bad from my point of view....
However, I've also had the same direct debit problems, not being passed onto Orange and signing me up for their helpline thing (I phoned them up only be told I had to cancel in writing - why the hell should I have to when I haven't been told about it!?)
So they get a thumbs up from me....although i've just dropped the bloody thing and put a nice dent in the corner

anyone who feels they've been mislead, screwed around or whatever by OSPS over this should inform orange. They have mechanisms in place for logging complaints about their dealers, just call customer services and they'll take you through it all over the phone.
after all the headaches they've given us over this, they deserve some in return.

Well, still no new info back from OSPS, and surprisingly the sales person hasnt replied to my email requesting that they return the cash to my credit card until such time as they have stock and are able to fulfill my order. Strange that he obviously hasnt got this email when he recieved all the ones regarding making the initial sale.
Time for a call to my credit card company I think.
Anyone had any new news from them today?

No news is good news! Not in this case though!!!
Called yesterday, got through to a very obnoxious young man, had the manners and Customer Service skills of a chimp. Got me thinking, maybe within the call centre they have rows of desks filled with chimps taking calls. Well anyway he advised that they will be in by the end of the week, also started rabbling on about the commission they were all on, god knows why. By this point i switched off and hung up, cant be bothered anymore. Whats meant to be will be!!
Anyway off on holiday now so will return on Monday, fingers crossed the phone will be awaiting my return.
If not i beleive a call to Watchdog will be in order as well as a very strong letter to the Managing Director cc'ing Oftel(regulator) within.

The lady told me that they are expecting them in today or tomorrow, she said it all depends on Orange, and that they get thier stuff from Orange. Okay I called some Orange shops around London and they told me that they are expecting delivery by lunch time today or Friday, and that they have not recieved delivery for the P900 for some time, that what they have been selling are the second stock that came sometime ago, that is from other shops that couldnt sell them.
