this isn't the place to be asking questions really, its better to post in the P800/P900 forum

anyway, its only possible if the applicatoin has been designed to provide a landscape mode, such as vrally. the user interface does not provide landscape mode in any way

Well I signed up at the developer site and downloaded the theme creator... I want to edit an existing theme, is it possible to get the image files out of a .thm file? I can see them in SE Themes Creator but dont see any option to export or save them.

if you have winrar you can open the .thm file using it, in the same way as a zip file. Then you can extract all the images and place them back into a new theme in the theme creator program

since you have SE's theme creator you cant extract anything, so what you do is rename your "*.thm" file to "*.zip". this should do it. better still...if your creating themes for a t610 then its better if you use "theme creator pro 3g". it has its own extractor
you should find it under the downloads link on this site

When you rename it as a .zip file, open it with Winzip and extract the files you want.

when you type a reply on esato look underneath the box where you type your reply and you can see a link that says smilies

click that and you will get a complete list of them
