Is it true that this is the last year for Xperia and from 2025 onwards Sony will have a new design and new line of phones?

hopefully yes. The existing design is already tired and dated.
Tap the Arc and the NXT Series design language.

arc design limits the internals like large batteries. Riht now, sony should try to increase to 5150 at least. |

There's always a risk in radically changing the design.
Omnibalance was great but Ambient flow was horrible (good thing it didn't last long). But all of those were still Xperia. IMO there's no need to ditch the Xperia brand.

All I want to see : Bit larger screen (0,2") , Micro matrix, no cam bump like Z series. Dont need anything else to change |

The glyph interface of nothing phones reminds me of NXT design, Sony could do something like that but more beautifully. I still think previous notification led designs were pretty nice.
I don't think flush cams could be possible with the current sensor sizes unless lens design is simplified, like curved sensors promised |

Some old xperia had notification light behind speaker grill. Xperia C had.
Also, it could change colour as battery was getting full ( red ➡️ orange ➡️ green).
I think notifications were purple.
Very useful. |

" I had an interesting conversation with a Sony official. (This is her personal opinion, not Sony's official opinion).. She says that more than 70% of users who currently use foldable smartphones return to traditional smartphones when they next buy a new smartphone. Simply put, users who purchase a foldable smartphone are unlikely to purchase another new foldable smartphone. Therefore, it is certain that the number of foldable smartphones sold will increase in the coming years, but after that, the penetration rate of smartphones will start to decline. According to her, this may be the reason why Sony is not serious about developing foldable smartphones."

I do not think this is mark 6. Everybody likes the frame of mark 5 and claims it makes grip so much better. Why would sony remove it? Also, this looks exactly like pixel 9 pro frame.
LYTIA is how sony semicon wants to name all future sensors for phone, that includes exmor RS and Exmor T.
Sensors like LYT900 (type 1.0) , LYT700 (1/1.56"), LYT600 (1/2") and LYT500 (1/2.95") are not dual layer pixel transistor, they are still exmor RS. |

IDK if this shift issue is persistent in every situation but he's too close to the subject the shift might be inevitable. But yeah I don't see dullness or grain in the pics he shared |
