Then now I am sure that we don't talk about the same menu.
You might want to reread my previous post...

Whit that you can control the music mode of the device you have selected as source (if supported by connected device). For instance, if connected to a computer supporting this BT profile, you can use the menu to select whether your computer sound shall be forwarded to your headset or not.

If you hold down the call key fo around 5 sec a third menu will appear through which you can control where your calls shall go (looks similar as the menu for music source except that the radio is gone).

Nothing if you are only connected to a handset. If you are connected to another device such as a computer a submenu containing two entries will appear after the "psp" icon from where you can select how to route your computer sound (route to headset or to computers internal/externa speakers).

If the manual explained what that mode selector is suited for is or how to reset our device, it will be all better, but it doesn't...

I can only see that it describe it as "Gaming mode", with no instruction to even how this menu screen is triggered (I had to find out myself that I have to push both PREVIOUS & NEXT buttons).
It appears that we have to find out ourselves some things, go figure...

Why is this called "Gaming mode"?

Good question. Maybe more controls are enabled when connected to a gaming device like PSP. However, when connected to my laptop I can only control whether my laptop's internal speaker or the headset should ouput the computer sound. At least that's what I have found out so far.

The provided manual state a more complete manual can be found at SE's own support pages, but I can't find any.

Here is a picture of how the submenu of the "game mode" looks like. The icon to the left routs the sound
to the the computers default speakers and the one to the left routs the sound to the headset.

roanmy, I would gladly try that if I knew a WM6 player that sends song titles to the MW600...
Does anyone know if such software exist?
