...can only just now commend you for that, @Raiderski...that much laughter hurts......
On topic, is N86 N82's replacement, or is there a candybar version(N83??) to come??

N86 is the star of this topic
no more chitchat about your fears

I guess we can expect candybar version. sooner or later 8MP must appear in this form but this might not be priority for Nokia

I dont't think it is N82 replacement as it doesn't have xenon and is a slider.
Is more a N85 replacement to me. |

I agree about low-light, maybe except of I-mobile 902 which proved full strength in low-light
BTW. childish arguments never deserve for inteligent answer

@Raiderski, thanks...yes, N82 being Nokias camera flagman to date, I believe they will have a Xenon-equipped successor(in bar form). Just hoping, that they use this variable sensor......

Nokia are redoing the whole N73/N80 thing it seems. 1st you get the slider with all the new features and new camera unit, with a focus on multimedia -N80 then the Imaging device in candy bar form with a focus on the camera -N73, they did the very same thing with 1st bringing in the N95 then the N82, and im pretty sure they will do the same with N86 then maybe a N83.

I think i'm getting used to its design now. and i kinda like white version just like the N97 white. i can only see one problem on the camera it sometimes oversharpen the edges i do hope nokia could get the innov8 details other than that the camera is amazing for an 8mp. and yes for the xenon version it should be candybar, but i hope it's going to be touch based. i just have used a 5800 and i kinda love it actually

WHY on EARTH does EVERY phone conversation on these boards HAVE to be about WHICH camera component is better than the other from various SE phones vs the competition?!
Because the camera is the MAIN feature
Actually, the Build Quality is the first main feature Nokia is talking about.
Secondly its the dual slider function with NGage dedicated gaming.
Still the Video Recording = VGA @ 30fps will be the better star for Nokia to compare vs SE - until the Idou ships.
