I don't want to be a pain in the ass but: if these things hit the stores in may you have them shipped out of your factory at least half of april wich is in one week. If you wanna do so you have to know the exact price right now. So my guess is if you don't know the price by now, these things won't be for sale in may or even in june.

Remember these are just my thoughts

oneeyejack > hehe,..yeah, they'll fit any ear-size.
The "ear-lock" can "bend and shape" to fit anything
Okay maybe not an elephant, hehe.

RICK > You're not a pain

I'm not in the sales-dept, therefore I dont have/get all information thats available..and we havent spoken lately about the price, when I was there.
I was busy doing other things, when I was there the last couple of times.

Another thing is, I'm not at Nextlink every day, so I dont have all information on prices, distributors, shipping and so on. My basic concern are the design-part, and right now the show in Japan.

I'm usually "updated" on different stuff, whenever I go to Nexlink.
But with everyone right now being VERY busy/not in the house, there arent always time/possibilities, for a complete "update".

Release-date all depends on those small bluetooth-modules, that I spoke about earlier.

I'll try to get hold of a distributor-list and some current info on price-range.

SE_DJ > Hehe,..As I said earlier, I dont have a distributor list with me, so I dont know the countries for sure.
But the idea is, that you should be able to buy the Bluespoon all over the world. All countries will not be on the list from the beginning, but will eventually "join up"

--------------------------------------

BTW : Just saw that Expansys.com have the REAL PICTURE of the Bluespoon on their website now.
Although the got the release-date wrong, hehe,..they still write : end of Q1. Dont think they got this part updated yet

Hey,

Just had a couple of questions, but don't really have time to scroll back through 2 million posts before this to find the answers - needle in a haystack if you know what I mean

1. How much will this cost?
2. When is it out?

I'M JOKING - I guess you're a little sick of answering the same questions

My REAL questions are:

1. I remember some time back hearing about a problem with the jaw-bone microphone, and the possibility that you may have to incorporate
a boom microphone into the design. Is this true or just a myth?

2. I don't see any buttons on the picture on Nextlink. Whereabouts on the item are the button(s) located?

3. What is the maximum distance you can be from your phone and still receive a good signal (I have a T68)?

And finally...

4. If I buy you a Big Mac, will you send me a free set!?!

Cheers

Hey phill

I think You're probably looking at the wrong pictures, hehe.
The prototype is the blue transparent one.

---------------

The production-model is this silver, blue and black version. The girl on the first page on the website is also wearing this.

Its already got a microphone at the bottom..the silver part
And the two black parts are the buttons

Production-model :

Maximum distance is the same as the other headsets,..approx 10 metres.

Yes the jawbone microphone will not be on this version. It needs more testing,..so for now Bluespoon has the external microphone, as shown on the picture

HEHE,..question 4....NOPE

Cheers

Sorry for this "stupid" question, but how does a jawbone microphone look like? Is it some kind of form or technology?

Any pictures that can demonstrate a jawbone mic?

Thanx beforehand.
