Just phoned Ericsson UK and they know nothing about it yet!
Phoned DVH Communications, they have it (R2B) because they download it from Ericsson Swedens server. So it must be available in Sweden upto press!

I'm terribly disapointed. At this very moment i've just upgraded my t68. A few minutes ago. And my sw version is.................. R2A013....
French services are always late.....
Anyway... I will bother this guy again next week... |

Well, R2B is here in the USA Robb in PA I normally send my phone do firmware upgrade because quick turnaround time now has R2B for T68. I should of figured Ericsson USA being slow. But, I will hate to loose Tetris though  |

i work for a service centre and also deal with ericsson returns so we find out quite fast the fault on the phones, when you run a update on emma 2 it downloads the update to your hard drive, we do not get notifed if the are new versions on the server until we check for updates. |

I upgraded mine today around 17:30 in Gothenburg Sweden. The guy in the service point said that the newest version out is R2A (That's what I got) and the new versions usually comes once a month. So, perhaps the R2B will come to Sweden in a month?
I'll email them every day and ask them.
But, I don't really know what all the fuss is about... If MMS won't come yet, why bother? What I mean is, if there aren't any huge changes or something, I don't need to hurry and upgrading mine... |

The R2B013 software version is the truth. I work for a telecom operator, and checked with our service desk who confirmed it. I had R2B software installed on my T68 and the only changes I notice are the games. Tetris is out, and Naval Fleet is a new game, among several others. I believe the solitare games were also moved out of their group, to give you the feeling your phone has more games.
I can confirm that I didn't see any MMS software, and there is no photoalbum.
But I tryed the Naval Fleet game, I'm not shure what the english thitle is, but I think it would be Seabattle. You place your ships on a grid, and so does your opponent, and then you guess the location of each others ships and try to sink them.
The coolest thing about this game is the Multiplayer function, that allows you to play the game to [at least one] other player via Bluetooth or IrDA.
I tryed it today... and I guess this makes it ok to loose tetris, altough I must say I will miss it alot! |

I live in Denmark and I just upgraded a couple of days ago, I thought it was the first version from start of Jan 2002, but after seeing this topic on the forum I checked my sw version and I can confirm it is R2B and it does contain Naval Fleet, which is truly cool, GAME is gone which is probably ok since it was bad anyway. but Tetris is sadly also gone, I think it takes up to much valuable kilobytes in the rom.
Also the screen seems better than before (I had the initial sw before) and the colours dont seem to fade as much..
Sadly no theme editor, screensaver or ability to remove operator name from the background picture. Also it does seem faster in menus when clicking fast up/down on the joystick, but it does still fill up the input buffer much faster than it can update it on the screen ie. in the phonebook.
T9 could be made alot better, i.e T9 always suggest my own name as 4/9 or something, can't it get into it's mind that I always write this word in my sms' 
Sadly I still have big trouble syncronizing with outlook on WinXP and it hasn't worked for a month now.. annoying.. real bad..
also my WAP has begun to give an error req_header_error on almost all page loads, the page will load correctly if I choose reload in the menu. Really frustrating..!

Sorry, but with every sw upgrade I hear the same. If it was true, at this moment my phone should be faster that any Nokia.
Don't get me wrong, warpgiga. Thanks for your comments, but I must say we are a little subjectives about our amazing T68.
