I hate having to do a hotsync everytime my aaa batts die out on my m125 x:
any suggestions? like my blazer and web browser and my favorite game chess tiger
What parts of blazer(write-protected) web browser should I copy to my expansion card so when it resets , it's still fully functional?
the address book is no problem (via ir and T68)

Thanks for your expertise!

@bonito99
am not sure if blazer would run from the expansion card.

maybe you should consider the 5xx with the internal battery instead? how many long does your battery last?

Bonito99, Blazer can be launched from your memory card. You can either use the standard launcher or ML. Don't use pidirect on this application . You're sure to crash your palm. Try to get hold on build 49 ok?

Bonito99, To move copy right protected applications to your launcher folder on SD/MMC, use Filez. Its definitely slower than Mcfile but it gets the job done.

Bonito99, Megalauncher can copy any app to the launcher folder of your card with ease.

Mfb- thanks for the tip! Gowin- it lasts for about 6days with extensive surfing. With the 5xx series, don.t think that i want to spend too much on a pda since those cost a lot ü just got my pda in a trade ü i.m ok with a basic unit na ü

Does it forget all the apps, if you remove the batts for a while ie changing to a fresh set? You using re-chargeables?

GOwin, could we like use the GPRS to connect to the internet? and use the pda to surf? that way its free... is it possible? i'm confused...

You can in Europe, but not necessarily in the US. If you are on Voicestream, they've set their GPRS Gateway to work with Pocket PC and not the Palm OS.

Gowin- disposable batts. Only those apps stored in the handheld, not in the card which are erased. What are the components of blazer that i have to save in the card to function properly? Web browser, blazer and what else? Thanks. Btw, can you save the mapalad.org gprs settings in the expansion card?

hmm, i have not encountered that kind of problem before, so i cant really help you there.

deleting the data comm setting, and entering a new one might help. there could be a different setting there right now that is causing it. nor harm trying, right?
