Hi eveyone.

I saw that the "hybrid camera driver for k750/w800" topic went out because of some silly arguments and i cant see many people from there.
where are they? where is jilly?

i am using zuza driver and dont have any opininion about whether i should upgrade to this driver.I read all the pages and couldnt find a comparison with the other modded drivers. especially with zuza driver.

does someone hane any opinion about this?

The other topic did its job and it was high time that it was closed. When the topic was started, people were discovering how to mod camera drivers, which values to change and how it affected the picture. They learned most of it and then the topic turned into a rat race. They began arguing which driver was "best" and "ultimate", and they used to get personally offended when s.o. didn't like it. In my opinion, there wasn't much improvement over 5.6c and 2.441, just endless arguments and countless driver versions with minor changes.
Now this driver is totally different. You don't need any comparison pictures and there couldn't possibly be any. Because with SuperMode, you can change virtually any setting on your camera you'll ever need - sharpness, contrast, brightness, exposure, speed, ISO - to name just a few. So it all depends on you and which settings would you choose to make a picture. Now it's up to you to take a perfect shot.

Sorry ... but this is not the best driver for my w800... cuz I ain't got a w800 anymore after this driver... Im holding a fking 2mp Nikkon with so many features I'll problably take a month to learn... but after that Im pretty sure wont buy another phone, at least untill I get money for a 5mp one.

Very very nice job dude... this is a whole new concept.
You should get paid for that.

Chenrong, this is a fabulous effort. It's a really service you provide to share this info with us all. Thanks heaps.

It's a shame about the limit of 1/4s shutter speed, a BULB setting would be good.

But it's great to have this level of control over the settings. Can you tell me is this driver in normal mode a 5.3 SE driver?

In normal mode some parameters was changed. Version 8.51 is base on 5.3 SE drriver. This isn't.

What do I need to change to get the VR's Bitrate back to normal again? My videos look like crap again just like with the early firmware

-Hold C on the phone, and connect the cable to the phone
-Choose FS
-go to ifs/settings/camera
-delete camdriver0.dat (by pressing f8)
-browse to the new superdriver camdriver0.dat in the right screen
-Copy it to the phone (F5-->press enter)
-Quit Far manager (To be sure go back to FS by clicking on the ".. , then say yes to the loader thing)

Its on the CD you get with the phone.
W800 has its own driver..so yes it works, but im not sure of the camera driver will work for the w800.
If you insert the CD, hold C and turn on your phone it should give you the driver prompt

Hi chengrong,

Thanks for your driver. I found it to be really good except it takes me about 5 to 10 goes to go into the supermode each time I turn on the camera.

My joystick is not working properly and I can only go right in the horizontal mode but left works only 1 out of 5 times..

I think this is a common problems with K750i and w800i. there is probably quite a few people out there with partly faulty joysticks. that is why they compain that supermode is not working.

is it possible to change how the supermode is activated? such as a number code instead (eg, typing 12345 on the keypad)?

thanks

Chenrong,

What is the base normal driver please? Sometimes I just need to open the camera real quick and take a picture of something funny for example, wich is impossible with supermode since I'd have to config everything before taking the picture.
But the normal driver has a very slow auto-focus/shutter and Im getting blurry pictures every time I use nightmode + normal mode.
Is there any handy config I could change to make the normal driver good for inside/dark pictures with nightmode?
Im asking this because today a friend asked me to take her picture and I was like: wait.. I have to configure the driver...
I took forever to do it hehehe ... sometimes we don't have enough time hehe
The reason Im asking this is because most of my pics are inside pics with low lights... those you take inside your car with your friends... or from some chick on the corridor.... Outside pictures are easier to configure, even using supermode... all I gotta do is use the landscape configs.
Indoor pictures are hard to configure...

@all
Has anyone found out a good setup for inside pictures, with fast shutter and low noise? A good config combo using supermode?
I don't really know how manual shutter and iso settings work...
