If they do, then what would be the difference between the W and K series? |

I didn't mean HPM-70, I meant it doesn't come with HPM-65. Unless I'm looking at something wrong here...

Those are HPM-65 and those are not what the K750 or the K800 came with, correct? I don't know the part number of the ones that come with these two phones |

Ok my bad... a bit.
We originally thought that the K800 would come with HPM-70 head phones, the same that the W800 used...

But it now seems that the K800 only comes with HPM-60 head phones, the same that the K750 came with...

HPM-60 or HPB-60? I guess the ones bundled with both K750 and K800 are not sold seperately, the HPB-60 as on the SE site is a mono handsfree kit with only one earphone.
But yes I know what you mean. I was fairly annoyed that it didn't come with HPM-65 or 70 as I wanted to use my own earphones. Got HPM-70 on the way (I think!)
Just noticed these: http://www.sonyericsson.com/s[....]1_1&zone=pp&lm=pp4_1&pid=10204
So I guess the ones supplied with K750/K800 are HPM-20 but with fastport connector. I think

@ QVGA...
K Series = Imaging
W Series = Music
Thats the difference between the two series', accessories shouldn't come into it as you can just buy better/different SE accessories anyway that will work for the K750/800, where as you cannot buy a K750 Walkman player upgarde so that sets the series difference and accessories shouldn't, if you get what I mean. I agree that if the K800 was going to come with HPM-70 head phones then they shouldn't have the Walkman logo as that then would be messing up the W and K series.

I've just tried and I can get to mine. Out of interest, was you given a GM number and another number in order to check using the DHL tracking site? |

I asked about the M2 card when I rang up o2 to get an upgrade, as I was gonna get a gig card if i had went elsewhere. The woman went to check but couldnt find where it says if you got one, but she did say that it should come with a 512mb card because thats what the w810 comes with. Not that that makes any sense seen as its a different card, but I will say that to them when I ring up to get my 3g sim activated once my phone has arrived. Also, on the o2 site on the phones specifications and features say
Memory Card
Yes - Memory Stick Micro (M2)
To me that suggests that one comes with it too, not just that you can get one for it. If it meant you could get one for it it should say supports memory stick micro, like it does with the mp3 player saying 'Supports MP3, AAC and MPEG4'. So I will mention that see what they say.

I have received a message from my source in CEO office (some of you will know I don't let on her name). There IS NOT supposed to be a card in the box as standard, as it says in the manual "you may have to purchase...". Some suppliers have bundled in a card and SE will supply them in the box if that's what they want. However I'm not giving anything away... but contact them, stand your corners and see what happens... |

O2 told me that the M2 card was not included and this has to be purchased seperately. The woman on the phone took a while to look into it but confirmed.
If you manage to get O2 to pay for one then i'd be suprised. They also stated that although it says on the website about the M2 card, it doesn't specifically state that it comes with one.

I ordered my K800 last week from O2 (after much negotiation £15 for 200 mins and 200 texts) and a couple of days later when I rang to check its delivery date I enquired what size memory stick would be bundled with it. I was informed (after being put on hold) that there was indeed a memory stick but they could not confirm the size. Anyway - K800 doesn't arrive Monday as promised but on Tuesday (had to pick it up from depot after work 'cos O2 wrongly asked DHL to delivered it to home instead of to work). Anyway - there is no memory stick so I call O2 - and after being in discussion with them for 40 mins.......they tell me that they will put one in the post for me, free of charge. Later the same evening O2 call me to say they were very sorry that they had assumed incorrectly that a memory stick would be included -(methinks they were confused 'cos all the W series phones have them!!!) and that contrary to what I had been told earlier - O2 online can''t send out memory sticks - only the O2 shop supplies them. Soooooo - would I mind if they instead credit my account with £40 (supposedly for a 512MB memory stick) and then £10 for the inconvenience? Well chuffed I was when I check account later and there the credit sits!!!! Experience tells me that you always should get the name of the person you spoke to and refer back to them in subsequent conversations........xxx said this and xxx said that is a very powerful negotiating tool........... |

I wasnt given any gm number by them, but from past experience you just use the gm number shown on o2 to check your DHL package.
I still cant get on it tho I get a screen come up saying:
"We're sorry you're unable to look at the Online Shop or My O2 at the moment. Following feedback from customers we are making changes so it's even better for you to use."
Then a bunch of support numbers.
May try to get some credit out of them too by confusing them about the mem sticks. They really dont seem clue'd up alot of the people on their desks which really works to our advantage
EDIT: Hmmm seems I just couldnt get into that section with Mozilla. Just checked with IE 7 and I can see they have sent it to the courier already . Layout is all messed up on IE tho. Oh well hope it comes tomorrow so I can skank them for a mem card.

Well done - im suprised O2 would do this thou - maybe the've cottoned on to people asking and have now revoked memorysticks.
Not too much of an issue as i've just ordered one for £20 from xlshop - just thought i would try it with O2. |

It was the gm number you use in DHL right? I keep getting "incorrect ident number" ?
EDIT: Well managed to find it in the end. But not sure in which order (chronologically) the info is given from DHL site.
I see:
Parcel Picked Up 05/07/06 O2 - CUSTOMER LOCATION
then
Item Manifested For Collection LEEDS SERVICE CENTRE
Did it start in Leeds ? Or has it gone to a DHL depot there? Coz I sure as hell dont live anywhere near leeds!!
